Kajun yawned, his tail flicking softly against the soft grass of in front of the family den. His sibling fell beside him, the three all tuckered out from a day of rambunctious play. Each chest rose and fell in rhythm. "Donnar, Tealya, our Daddies should be home soon with with food why don't we take a nap until then?" Kajun suggested. Donnar was quick to agree with Kajun, and Tealya growled but made no effort to get up and argue.
Yawning again Kajun rolled to his back, his eyes closing without much effort, the calming rest after a day of play very welcoming to the young male. Even though he and his siblings were now grown, they sometimes got together like this as a big family. His parents were pretty protective of them all still, Papa Thor called still called him his 'treasures'. Kajun smiled softly as he drifted off thinking about them.

It was a game of hers, to go into well-established dens and find something valued, precious, to nab the thing and take it. A simple matter of rendering herself and beauty invisible, and levitating the merest bit off of the ground so she wouldn't leave any footprints. Her familiar, smarter than most, was well-versed in being quiet and searching out valuable things. But this silly little den was confounding, Not a single good thing to be had, and she had come all this way! It was a disappointment, to say the very least.
Beauty slithered a hair above the ground, supported by her mistress, as she came back. A twitch of her tail said something interesting was nearby, but Echo had combed the place over. It was seldom that the snake ever found something that she missed... but she decided to humor her reptilian friend, and light-stepped behind her.
Beauty slithered three times around a sleeping wish, making Echo practically drop them in shock. It was the perfect plan! She nosed her cold-blooded companion until she slithered around her neck, and reached into the pouch she had cleverly gotten around her middle. The thing sparkled for a moment, and she reached in, pulling out a strange, human contraption, and floating it next to the sleeping wish's prone form. He was a beauty, she now saw, a perfect prize to make her own. He would help her take care of her treasures, find places to hide them, help her remember where she had put what. Yes, even as she levitated him and nosed him onto the wooden thing, she liked the idea.
Making sure his tail was safely within the boundaries of the sliding contraption, she floated herself, her snake, and her new prize out of the den. She regained visibility a good while away from it, and let the sliding thing settle on the grass, moving herself so that the rope loop attached to it's front was in her mouth. She began walking, turning along dense forest and bare cliffs, taking him up to her mountain home, making sure he would keep on sleeping until she got him to their destination. Because though teleportation would simply be easier, there was something to be said about hard, honest work paying off.
Once he was safely tucked in the depths of what first seemed to be a blocked-off cave, she erased all outside evidence of her pulling-device's passage, and went back to watch her new plaything's restful slumber.
