That is the most asked question, and if you didnt have the slightest notice in FFVII Sephiroth had a bit of a temperal pproblem burning down a town after reading a journal about his life. Other wise saying he could be looked at as violent, he could be looked at as a necrophiliac, he could have thought terms on how she might be better dead, and there is alot of shitty love films that I myself relate to FFVII that the main theme is death, I can explain more plots then movie titles (The first one that comes to mind is romeo and juliet) but there is those where someone sees that there lover is going threw pain and theylll kill them so that they may be callous to feeling, they might want the lover to stay pure/innocent/a virgin or other silly reasons, ect. There are many plots that could be easily fit into the catorgory. Also a point in the FFVII plot is Sephiroth was being used by Jenova, meaning he was a bit of a mama's boy, doing whatever she pleased, giving Aeris's death another two idiotic but still two other exsists on why there relasionship may have still worked out, One, Watch Jerry Spinger or Maury and see the men act like idiots and believe ech word there mother says and wont claim there baby orwill go to the extreme of leaving the woman, or of course, he would have no say in the killing amd just look at it ss something that had to be done; as I basically believe. There are millions of explanations on why the pairing is total AWESOMENESS. Lol. But I dont feel like I need typing them unless another question is asked.

I personally support the Cloud and Aeris pairing the most, although I like the Cloud and Tifa pairing as well. We can't forget that the three main characters of FFVII were originally going to be Cloud, Barret, and Aeris. They added in Tifa later, when they decided to kill off Aeris. 3nodding

neutral I personally giggle every time I see those two together. I've never seen a good story with that pairing. I don't like it. But hey, that's just my opinion.

LOL, Sephiroth and Aeris?!?!?! They couldnt stand each other, Aeris was standin in Sephiroth's path in his quest for world domination, and Aeris was mad for Cloud. She was always lookin for Cloud's approval. Had it not been for Sephiroth slayin Aeris, Cloud and Aeris wouldve ended up as happy a couple as Locke/Celeste, Squall/Rinoa, Zidane/Garnet, Steiner/Beatrix, Yuna/Tidus in FFX2, Lulu/Wakka in FFX2. so no, Aeris would have NEVER wound up with Sephiroth!! And no one can convince me otherwise. Furthermore, in Romeo and Juliet, it was all a plan so they could be together and it went terribly wrong. Romeo thought she was dead and drank poision, and when Juliet came to and he was dead, she stabbed herself because she couldnt be with him. In FF AC, Cloud's love for Aeris shines through as he puts her memory ahead of Tifa, that says it all.
