Hey there people. For a while now I've been getting a whole lot of confusing information about auras, such as how many colours are in one, how big the are, what/who has them, etc. I was wondering if people out there could help me out a bit and give me something definite to work with. Also, how exactly does one see an aura?

Hm.. I am not an expert, but I am pretty sure there are a few different layer to the aura, and many different colour meanings. I think you can see them ( this has worked for me anyway ) if you look slightly beyond the person, but not directly at them. You sort of... not pay attention, and then I see it. I usually look just beyond the person's elbow. ^^ I hope that helped some, and I apologise if my info is.. messed up. Anyways... Ta!

I don't really know much about auras, I think they are different colors and layers depending on the person, they change with your emotion and with your health. I have also heard that for different people like healers have a certain pattern to there Auras and there is a way to actually see them using an electro sensing thingy that looks at the energy coming off of things, I believe that everything has an aura because basically everything has energy or is made of energy. I have never been able to see an aura, but I think I have been able to sense them. I think it is the same when you go up to some one and know they are mad with out looking at there face, that kind of knowledge you get from sensing the energy around some one or there aura. At least that is my beliefe.

Hmm.. I quite know what you mean about the emotion sensing thing. I am super empathic, and when people are angry I can feel anger coming off of them in waves, that is if I am not muddied by my own psychotic emotions. ^^

I can't so much see them as feel them. The whole seeing thing is still developing I believe. I know my father makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up. It's rather odd...

I can't see auras either. I can sense things about people and objects but I don't often see an kind of aura around them. I might have a few times but it was light so it might have been something else.

i would love to be able to see auras. they've always been an interesting concept to me, but i dont know much about them.

Well that kinda clears things up for me. I'd been told before how to see them, I just wasn't sure if I was doing it right because I only see one colour around most people/objects. It varies a bit in size, but it's always only one colour.
What people are sensing though, I think are more energy fields rather than the auras. I can see those easily enough. You know how you look out in the distance on a hot day and it's all hazy? Energy fields sorta look like that.
