Doctrine and Covenants 76 shows that Heavenly Father has provided three kingdoms of glory in which most people will live after they are resurrected: the telestial kingdom, the terrestrial kingdom, and the celestial kingdom. Each of us will inherit a kingdom of glory based on the manner in which we have “received the testimony of Jesus”
Okay, so we will start with, what is the meaning of perdition?

I'm going to cheat and use the dictionary.
It's derived from the Latin "perditio" which basically indicates destruction, ruin, losing everything, etc. In English religious vernacular it came to indicate a state of final spiritual ruin.
Yeah, definitely couldn't have told you that from memory.

yeah, I probably wouldn't have been able to either.
for this lesson perdition refers to a state of loss and destruction rather than a kingdom of glory. Those who experience this are called “sons of perdition” because they follow Satan, who is called Perdition.
What did satan begin to do when he was cast out? (See D&C 76:29; Moses 4:4.) and What can we do to win the war against Satan in our lives?

He began to try to win us over to his side so we wouldn't be able to go back to our Father in Heaven.
We can fight against him by resisting his temptations and keeping our testimonies strong and growing.
