On one side, a tropical Island Beach, on the other, miles upon miles of waving dunes and beaches. Endless Beach is nothing but a strip of land that wraps around a sphere of water. If one were strong enough, they could swim from one end of the Beach around to the other, and never see another plot of land, because there is no other.

The foxes looked about. It was...dark as was the sea. Kay looked out at the ocean and frowned. She knew better than to swim in it. It was tainted with darkness which saddened her. It was probably beautiful before the darkness took it. But they would change that. The fox female's looked up at the twins, awaiting their orders.

(I'm guessing Anaryn and Arlen and the gang are already here, so I'm going to post now.)
Arlen felt his stomach lurch when he, his sister, the foxes, and the twenty people who were with them finally reached the Endless Beach. He didn't feel so good, considering when he and his sister slept in, they also didn't have time to eat while they were running to get to the meeting at a decent time, and not overly late. His sister was beside him, with the foxes not far from them. Arlen and his sister got to work. "Alright," he said, starting them off. "Anaryn, Kaori, Kay, and I will be sweeping the area for Heartless. I want the rest of you to take a breather and keep watch of this area until we get back. Am I clear?" Once he was sure that they understood, he shouldered his pack and started the trek down a black sand slope, his eyes open. It was a shame that what was probably once a gorgeaous place was now ridden with Heartless. It made him sick.
Anaryn was not far behind her brother, her Keyblade not drawn at the moment. As they were descending, she looked over the black salt water, the currents just reminding her painfully of Twilight Town's beach, the world she once thought of as her home. But she had a real home out there, and it was calling out to her. But, until she and her brother found that world again, she was content with calling the City her home. She looked over her shoulder at the other people that were to help them with clean up duty. She was worried about them, but was sure they were okay.

Kaori and Kay followed obediently, keeping their eyes and ears open for the heartless they were bound to run into. Kay, despite the water being tainted allowed the shadowy water to gently lap over her feet. every wave that passed over her feet glowed with light. Since Kay was a water elemental, she had the ability to purify tainted water, but the entire ocean was a bit much for her. She would need Kitsune's help for that. But a small portion around her was easy enough.

Arlen led their small group, minus the people, further along the beach, shifting his gaze from side to side, his blue eyes narrow. He was naturally suspicious of this place. It has Heartless in it, and the last thing he wanted was an attack on their group. It wouldn't be that hard if there were small, insignificant Heartless around. But big ones.....that would be a little more complicated.
Anaryn turned to Kay and watched the light around her paws as she cleaned the water. It was amazing to her, and it would be nice to have Endless Beach back to the way it was. She looked down at Kaori and smiled. "It's been a long time since we saw you, Kaori," she said cheerfully, smiling at the fox lady.

Kaori smiled at the young girl. "Yes it has, I'm so glad you two are doing alright. You've both grown so much since the last time I saw you. I'm very proud of you both." she said kindly. She looked over to Kay and frowned. "Kay, stay away from the water for now. I don't have a good feeling about it." Kay looked up at her superior and complied, jumping on Arlen's shoulder instead. The foxes kept a look out for any signs of heartless. After a few paces Kay caught sight of a cluster a ways in front of them. Small fry, consisting of shadows, soldiers and a few red nocturnes and green requiems mixed in. Nothing to threatening at all despite the fact that there were many. But they still needed to go. Kaori looked up at the twins and nodded. The only thing that worried Kaori was the fact that Anaryn held a keyblade. As soon as she summoned it many more will come in time. But is must be done. "On your orders." she said, not attacking unless told. They served the twins for the time being, thus they had the power to tell the fox spirits what to do.
Four figures hid amongst the dead beach grass, waiting patiently. Their orders were simple. Grab as many hearts as you can without engaging the keybladers ,in a fight anyway. A thin fox with a missing right eye, observed the figures coming down the beach. He sighed and then raised a curious brow. Only one was a keyblader. "That'll be a bit of a set back.." he murmured. And then he spotted two ninetails spirits with them, light ninetails. "And another set back...man I don't get pain enough for this crap."

(And so shall it begin)
A Large purple pair of grande doors phased into reality behind the four figures, swinging open silently, leaving neither noise nor wind for them to feel. And from within the strange gateway, stepped a very familiar figure. His silver dreads dropped down to his waist in numbers, each one harboring a small black ring somewhere around the lock, rendering the boys powers and presence near absolutly null and void. That was bad for the four unsuspecing figures. However, Angeal, true to his previous nature, simply waltzed up behind them an squated down on a knee, glancing down at the group. He first noticed Arlen and Anaryn. Despite his time away, he could cleary recognize them. They had grown pleasantly. That was... a relieving sight. Next he recognized the form of Kaori. Another pleasant sight.
Knowing full well that he had just given himself away from the four figures, he spoke, never pulling his silvery eyes away from the group. "And what are you getting paid to do exactly?"
A young looking woman stood amongst the water, her form raising and lower with the passing of of the waves. Held against her shoulder was an evil looking umbrela, which matched the dark attire she was dressed in. Her mission was simple. Find and engage the the key bearers. Target in sight, Docile began to walk towards the group, spinning her umbrella as she walked. She didn't look happy, but that's because she never looked happy. "Ring around the rosy..." came her dreary voice.

Axel's fur bristled and the four foxes turned around to face the new figure. "No offense Twilight, but that's none of your business" he said calmly, almost lazily. A fox pup, one of the four hopped up to him and smiled. "We're gonna collect hearts for master Nasake." she chirped happily. Another, winged, fox grabbed her and held her muzzle shut. Axel growled and face palmed. "Thanks, Kili...way to blow our cover..." he mumbled. "Yeah ok no thanks to big mouth now you know. We aint hurtin anybody...yet. So just stay out of it ok?" Axel didn't like unnecessary confrontation. "We don't appreciate you stickin your muzzle into our business anyway." A thin, emaciated fox, with long thin hair that covered his eyes, looked out and spotted something on the water. "We have company." he said, his deep voice barely above a whisper. Axel looked out and growled. "Augh! If this s*** goes any further south I'm pullin the plug on this operation." The fox pup wiggled from the other's grasp. "You said a bad word! That's a dollar for the swear jar!" she said. "Shut up Kili! Look, Twilight, we don't wanna fight. We just wanna finish this mission and leave so I ask you very respectfully...to go."
Kay looked out to the water and frowned. "It seems we aren't the only ones out here..." she said softly. Kaori turned and growled. She could sense several presences, one of which seemes familiar. This mission just got harder.
(( I am ready for it!))

Arlen drew his sword at the small Heartless, smirking while he did. "Piece of cake," he said confidently. Anaryn drew her Keyblade, too, which of course stirred up the Heartless, but what must be done must be done. But their attention was riveted from the Heartless when they heard "Ring around the Rosy," sung from out of nowhere.
Anaryn cocked her head to the side. "Do you hear that?" she asked.
Arlen nodded, trying to locate the sound's origins. Then he and Anaryn sensed the multiple presences in the area, resonating stronger than the small Heartless, which began to leap at them. Anaryn struck one with her Keyblade as she tried to understand what the presences were, and Arlen had just sliced two in one blow in half. The fight with the Heartless had begun, and it wouldn't help if there were more strange things coming to play.
"You can fight if you want to," Arlen said, answering Kaori's question a little late. "Besides, we need to clear it up here, anyway, right?"
(Do you guys know the fun fact about "Ring Around the Rosy"?)

(Yes. Yes I do. Which is exactly why I chose it.)
Angeal lazily swiveled his head to gaze upon Axel. "And I respectfully..." He tilted his head in a very awkward looking manner, as if mocking the fox with his presence. "Decline." He turned back to look down at the group of former friends. Oh, how disappointed they would be to see what he had become. A God, he was called on some worlds. A Deity on others. A Murderer on the rest. Slowly, he lifted himself into a standing position taking a loose stance(not fighting stance) as he allowed his head to drunkenly roll back to look at Axel. "You haven't given me a reason to interrupt you, so I would suggest you be on your way before you do."
A hollow glare was set on the four, void of emotion, void of compassion, fear, arrogance, anything. The softly glowing eyes were glazed over with a robotic like strictness. Neither piercing nor giving. Angeal was simply looking. "I'm just a keeper of balance," the teen said in a very ominous voice, turning away to glance at the others fight.
"Pocket full of posies," the young looking blonde girl continued the dreary chant, her voice sad and raspy. She spun the umbrella on her shoulder, making the waves about her churn in a very violent manner. All about her, the water began to purify as she drew in the darkness about her and also began absorbing the heartless into her own body, hearts and all. Her dark presence exploded with every moment, ever step, every heart. "Ashes. Ashes."

(I love the song, and I love it's origin. I find it amusing. And sinister.)
Anaryn blinked as Heartless were swept by her and her brother and friends, And she whipped her head around to see a young woman, a strange umbrella in hand, and the Heartless and dark waters absorbing into her. Arlen turned about to see what his sister was staring at, curious and annoyed that the chance of action was gone. He stared, wide eyed, at the woman. "Who are you?" he asked the woman, curious about her. "Why are you out here all alone? Don't you know this place is infested with Heartless?" It didn't make any sense to him how she was still here when there were Heartless about.

Axel glared silently. He didn't like when things fell apart. This guy pestering them, the foxes, the lack of keybladers, and now some dreary chick was taking the hearts they were supposed to be gathering for their master. "If we haven't given you a reason to interrupt us...why are you interrupting us? Sorry, but we're staying, I'm afraid our obligation to our master is greater than that of a stranger...no matter how...polite, he is." Axel responded calmly. He looked out to the dreary woman and snarled. "Let's sit back for now, let them handle it, observe. We'll pick up the pieces afterward." he stood and began to trot off, the others followed. They slowly faded away, leaving nothing but paw prints in the dry sand.
Kaori and Kay looked curiously. Not sure what to think. They didn't have a good feeling about the new arrival but at the same time she was doing more good than harm for now. Kaori and Kay stayed on edge, their guard raised and ready for an attack if there was one.

Docile held up her delicate looking hand and bobbed out before her in a conductive manner, gracefully glinding her hand in time with her words. "They all... fall.... down." At the very last word, down, she rose her hand to the sky and brought it down. As she did, a high pitch whistling erupted in the sky above. The young woman had cast Dark Meteor Storm.
Like a dancer in a ballet, she twirled on her toes, dipping low as she did, and the violently thrashing waves around her calmed. As soon as she right herself, the darkness that was deep underneath the water rose up in the form of a crashing wave and began rolling towards the beach shore in a Tsunami that was 1% water, and 99% pure darkness. The wave would take just over a minute to reach where the group from the City of Light was standing, and a little less than a minute before the meteor shower was upon them.
Sadly, the didn't have that much time. Docile was already standing behind Kaori, assuming the same casual stance as before. A strand of her long blond hair curling into a tendril and lashing out at the fox. At the same time, she spoke again in her raspy, child-like voice, "Please play with me."
Angeal watched as the creatures disappeared shaking his head at their decision to leave. "All I did was simply ask a question," he said to the now lonely air. With a sigh, he turned back towards where the doors had been moments before. Where they once towered now stood the Goddess of Nothingness in her wolf-like form, patiently awaiting Angeal's next move. The two exchanged a look for several moment before the Goddess turned away. She said nothing. Nothing ever needed to be said. "Don't be that way," Angeal said, turning his attention back towards the fight at hand. "So how much have you two progressed?" he asked. The wind not carrying his words to them.

Arlen gasped at the wave and pulled his sister closer to him. Then, the strange lady(Docile) was behind Kaori, slashing at the fox lady. Arlen drew his sword and lashed at the lady. She was bad news. Anaryn looked up at the sky at the meteor shower that was coming their way. She began running back to the grou that they had brought with them.
"Anaryn, what are you doing?!" her brother called.
"To go protect the others!" she said, referring to the men and women who were supposed to help them. "They'll get hurt unless there's a shield!" Arlen blinked then nodded. He rushed forward and grabbed the two foxes by the backs of their necks.
"We're retreating....for now." he told them. "It will take both me and Anaryn to cast the shield to protect from the storm. Either argue or not. You're coming too." The twins were running towards their group, almost reaching the bottom of the slope that they had climbed down not ten minutes ago.

The Kaori was about to counter the attack but she was snatched away from her opponent. Kay too was going to try and stop the wave but was taken as well. They understood where the twins were coming from but if the dreary woman was after them, she would continue after them, right to the others the twins were so bent on protecting. The foxes looked at one another and nodded. Kay grabbed Anaryn's wrist and they teleported them to the camp sight. "Put up the shield!" Kay urged. Kaori looked up at the sky as the meteors neared, then back out at the wave. Kay was already running off to the shore. "Kay! Where are you going!" "To stop the wave!" Kay called back. Kaori looked up at the twins and back at Kay. She nodded briefly. Kay could handle herself. The water elemental stood in the shallow water. She glowed a brilliant gold as the water around her began to purify. She pushed and churned the water, building up a golden wave of light to equal the height of the black wave. It should cancel it out, giving the twins time to put up their shield and decreasing the amount of damage it has to take. She pushed it out to the other wave, holding it steady but then leaving it to it's own devices. Kay stumbled back and shook her fur.
