This world is covered with dense forests and swamps and marshes. Outside of these wilderness areas, is a large, medieval city area that has several towns in it. The buildings are more structured like modern buildings in that the material used is the same, but the city set up is that of a medieval town. This city used to house the castle of the Collective, but it is now destroyed after the battle fought within it. It is completely deserted due to thee high concentration of darkness, since it used to belong to two incredibly dark beings.

The twins stepped though the portal, Thorn looked around but was disappointed to find the castle gone. She whined. She liked the castle, she wondered what happened to it. Clair yawned and sniffed the air, It was very...marshy. At least she was away from all of that light. It was giving her a migraine. "So...where to boss." she asked as she kicked a small rock.

Xeeres looked over at Clair, then looked straight out with a thoughtful look on his face. He honestly didn't know. They were just there to see what was up and leave. He wasn't sure what to look for or where to go, but he figured the best place to start would be the town, around where the castle had been. He arced back and stretched, pulling his right hand out of his pocket and adjusted his headphones over his ears for the walk to the town. He turned them up a bit and started to walk toward the town, rocking his head slightly from side to side.
"It's all a game of this or that, now versus then better off against worse for wear And you’re someone who knows someone who knows someone I once knew And I just want to be a part of this
The road outside my house is paved with good intentions Hired a construction crew, 'cause it's hell on the engine."
He sang out loud, sort of cheerfully. It had been a while since he had really just sang along with his songs, he really just hadn't had the time, or the mindset to do it in a while, but now he just felt like it. His mood was light for some reason, especially being in a dark world. Contrary to what he had told Clair about his voice, it wasn't bad. He wasn't the greatest singer to ever live, but his voice was actually pretty nice, and he wasn't using is powers, he wasn't even thinking about them.

The twins looked as Xeeres strolled off...without so much as a word. "Yeah that to.." Clair said somewhat testily. That wasn't even an answer. She flared her wings and hovered. "Ok I guess we're doing recon so...report anything suspicious. Not like we know what that looks like around here. I'll take east, you go west." she ordered. She flew overhead to get a better birds eye view, while Thorn scurried through the west side of town, walking into buildings and overturning stuff.

Xeeres looked at the two of them and shrugged, they'd tell him what they saw. He had no clue what to look for and neither did they, so if they saw something they thought was weird, then it was probably what they were looking for. He walked into the city, not having the convenience of flight like they did, and looked around. It was incredibly quiet in this place, even the heartless weren't stirring. It was almost unsettling in a way, but he let it go, lowering the volume on his headphones. This place was more dead than the City used to be, and that in itself was creepy. Xeeres arced back, stretching his back and looked up at the barrier around the world. It would be simple to get rid of it from here, but that wouldn't solve anything. Whoever had put it up would just put up another one. Why would they want to put a barrier around this place anyway, it was so dead? What was so special in here that they needed that kind of protection? He continued to walk around the city, and around the ruined castle. As fast as he was, it didn't take him long to get to the rubble that was once the castle. He sat on top of the three story mound of ruin and sighed. "Well, so far there's nothing. I wonder what the girls found." He said to himself.

Clair was humming to herself, scanning down below. This place was as dead as it looked. Not even heartless. She sighed. Nothing. Clair decided to land and do some ground work. If her babies were here they could probably find something faster than them. She landed on a rubble heap and rummaged though stuff. Thorn upturned stones and even knocked down a few buildings. She took to the skies to search for Xeeres. Clair saw her sister over head and they flew together to find Xeeres. She spotted him and they circled above him. "This is duller than the city. This place is deader than a morgue." she growled. "Maybe the shield was created by someone off world." Thorn said thoughtfully. "Why would someone keep put up a shield on a world they don't even live in?" "Dunno...maybe they're hiding something big here."

Suddenly, everything erupted in Light. It bathed the ground, the trees, the water, purifying everything it touched. Everything except the twins and Xeeres. For the twins it would be a horribly annoying tingle, like the feeling of thousands of small misquotes nipping at their skin. And then, if that wasn't bad enough, something warped into view. What looked to be a feeble old man, hunched over, suspended in the air, looking down at the three. "Jar-" the old man began, but quickly deflected his eyes towards the twins. "How did such wicked things enter into my domain?" he asked, in a surprisingly clam and plain manner.
"Disturbia," came the man's voice. And, sure enough, the large cat-like creature emerged from behind him, looking down at the three with a very reluctant gaze. And the mysterious man could feel that gaze, without even looking up. He turned back towards Xeeres, the one he was obviously about to call Jareth. "Who are you?"

The twins yelped and fell to he ground, surprised at the sudden burst of energy. They hit the ground hard but quickly rebounded. The amount of light made them itch, made them angry. They hissed and snapped viciously, hair bristling and fangs bared. They weren't happy about it not one bit. They calmed to a quiet growl, tense and agitated. Their faces fell as Disturbia came when the man called. "Disturbia?" Thorn said softly, a little confused. They thought that only a bearer of the mirrors could summon the mirror spirits.

Xeeres looked up, seeing the light in the sky. Not being an actual being of darkness, it didn't bother him in that sense, more like someone flashed their brights in his face. He shielded his eyes, hearing the figure speak, though it wasn't his name, then saw Disturbia. That couldn't be. And if it was, they could be in trouble. He stood up tilted his head curiously at the man who held Disturbia, and he could sense it. He had more, not as much of a variety, he only had five. Two matched sets and one other one. He wasn't working with enough to make the Mirror of Infinity, which was good. He looked back at the twins, then at the old man. "Um... My name is Xeeres." He said a little confused, as well as a little defensive. This guy, intentional or not, was hurting the twins, and he couldn't allow that. The crystal on his chest turned black and he covered them in a light blanket of darkness, enough to block the light from bothering them, but not so they couldn't see anything. "And, I brought them here, since you're wondering." He said, in reference to how the twins got there.
"What do you mean YOURS." Nanashi said, with emphasis not anger, though it was only in Xeeres's mind, not out loud. "What did he do to my world. I should kill him, but he may know something we don't about these mirrors that we don't. You hard him, he was about too call you Jareth. let's see what else he's got." He said, his voice calm and full of curiosity

"Hmmm," the man said, decendeding to the ground, Disturbia following suite. "So, you have them too..." he said, stroking his chin with his feeble hand. He let out and amused chuckle. "So you harbor the souls of three dark beings, eh? Such a pity. You and him are so alike, allowing darkness it's reign." The old man held his hands behind his back in a sage-like manner and turned away from them. "And to answer you, my dark friend, I've been living here since I found it abandoned eleven months ago. Decided to spruce the place up a bit. Add some curtains, give the place a new color job. I left castle alone for now. Made a bigger on one the other side. Ohho, you should see it. I'm quiet impressed with the work she put into it."
The old man caught himself mid-rant and turned back towards his unexpected guest. "Well, if you wouldn't mind, I would appreciate it if you left me be. I have things I need to attend to, and I would like to keep my world free of dark spirits thank you." He turned away but turned back quickly. "You wouldn't happen to be related to a man named, Jareth would you? He's an old acquaintance of mine. And old coworker, if you will. You bear a striking resemblance."

The twins were grateful of the dark barrier. At least it didn't itch like a thousand fleas. They listened quietly until the end when the old man asked his question. "Yeah, he's related to Jareth." Thorn replied with a bit of malice. "What's your problem with dark spirits anyway sunshine?" Clair snapped viciously. They didn't like this man at all.

Xeeres looked back at the twins, then at the man in front of him, tilting his head to the side curiously. "Yeah... I am, as they said. He was my grandfather... Or something." He said suspiciously. He didn't recognize this man at all. Jareth's group was pretty tight knit, he knew everyone Jareth worked with. Or used to work with. For the most part at least. He knew the former mirror bearers, and knew about the people Jareth used to work with in the council, most of which he (Jareth) killed. So where did this guy come in? In all honesty, he really had no idea how old Jareth was, or how long it had been since he left the council in the first place, so maybe he could fall in that time frame... And so could a lot of people since he had no clue when his other relatives could have been born. "Why do you ask?" He asked curiously and suspiciously.

"Oh that's splendid. Your grandfather was a truly inspirational man. His plans for the Universe, ah, what a master plan." The old man seemed to tense up a bit, as if something had struck him in the back of the neck, but relaxed, again, resting his gentle eyes on Xeeres. "I see," he said, his voice lowering into a low ominous tone. "Well, it was nice meeting you. But I really would appreciate you leaving. I have much work to do," the man said. It was obvious, at this point that he was ignoring the twins and there questions. In his mind, he did not need to answer to them. They weren't on his level.
Nanashi, however, was a strong spirit. Even if he was of darkness, a possible threat to his plans he was capable of becoming. And then there was Xeeres. He had entertained the man for the time he had simply for the fact that he could see Jareth in him. But now that he had the information he wished to obtain, he wanted nothing more for them to leave. "I will not ask again." Throughout the whole time the man spoke, his voice never became rude, forceful or harsh.

Clair snarled and opened her mouth to retaliate but Thorn hushed her before she got a word out. "Leave it, he's not worth it." Thorn murmured harshly. Clair looked at her sister, a little put off but left it as told. Thorn was a better judge of character and assessing ones ability. If she stopped her then it was clearly for the best. Even though she wanted to rip out the man's throat. It was clear he was ignoring them, for what they were. It made her want to kill something.

Xeeres put up his hand, motioning for Clair to stop, even though Thorn had done so first. He didn't want either of them getting hurt. "Fine, we'll go." He said. He noticed the man was blatantly ignoring the twins, and that could have been a dangerous move, if he wasn't able to fight them. Though, judging by the fact that he was able to find five mirror fragments, he must be pretty powerful. Not because he had them, but because he could get them in the first place. Xeeres put his hand back in his pocket and turned toward the twins, walking up to them, then past them, put holding his arms out so that one arm was around each ones shoulders. "Let's go, we got what we came here for." He said ominously. He knew something would be potentially bad if they stayed too long. He opened a doorway and walked with the twins toward it. He didn't want to risk them getting hurt. He knew they could hold their own, but he wasn't sure for how long against him.
