Well besides of what we "should do" to make God happy and having us following him, what's the main thing under all of this? What do we learn and how? What's the meaning under all of how we symbolize ourselves or anything in life and what God wants us to do? How do you know for sure where we're exactly going depending with what we do in our time to "be with" God?

Please no scriptures, I want to hear this from each of you.

read Gods word till you feel it become a part of you.
memorize scripture.
know scripture so well that when people ask you questions about your faith, or how to handle a particular situation the words of God instantly come to your memory.
meditate on His words all the time, because the Word IS God.
and not only read it, memorize it, love it, crave it, consume His word before you consume food each morning....
and obey what it says.
(course we're not under the ceremonial laws of the old testament any longer. )

Well, it is to love God more than anything in your life and to love others like Jesus did. And we do that by praying daily (keeping in constant conversation with God), reading Scripture, fellowship (getting together with other Christians to worship, encourage, etc.), and reaching out to the world (spreading the gospel).

As to how do we set ourselves apart from the rest of the world, I think we can do lots. Like not participating in the sharing a inappropriate joke, not watching non-wholesome movies, etc. People should meet you and know from the get go, that you are a Christian.

Sometimes it is hard to see what God's plan is in our lives. Just saying, oh I have peace about this, isn't enough (because you might just be in denial). That is why prayer is so important and powerful. God will make use people to get you in His directions.

I think God is already really happy when we just say yes to Him. It's all about knowing Him and the best way is through talking with Him and reading His word. Ask questions and listen. So we learn about Him, and the more we learn the more we love Him and trust what He says is what is best for us. And like others have said, we know where we are going because it's all Him. We serve Him out of love, not out of earning anything more. smile
