Ace walked around the mall quietly stopping every couple of minutes to show somebody a card trick. He was a master with cards being able to do many card tricks and being able to win as many card games in the world, but he brought that to a new level. Every since he started being able to see hollow's he's been able to do something that no one else could do with cards, fight with them. He considered himself powerful but only because he hadn't really met anyone like himself.

After having gone home and dropped Renton off, Abeandra had decided to go to the mall. She knew the bookstore there had a lot of different books about ghosts, demons, and other paranormal type creatures. Now, 99% of them weren't real. The Chupacabra? Really? Vampires? Just some guys with a blood fetish and at risk of getting AIDS. Witches and Warlocks are no more than just weirdos who think they can do magic. But ghosts and demons were different. She was lost in thought about what sort of thing could eat souls.

Sighing Ace continued to trudge along the mall until he noticed a girl in a book store. He could barely make out what she looked like but something about her was off. He walked into the book store and quickly walked up to her ignoring every one else. "Hello there 'mam," he said calmly, "might I interest you a card trick?" He held out his deck of cards in the usual 'pick one' manner for Abeandra to get.

Abeandra blinked, turning and looking towards the one who approached her. In her hand was a book titled 'Ghosts, Demons, and Other Types of Spirits'. "Um.... alright... I suppose..." she looked at the cards a moment, tilting her head slightly. She picked one, though was still a little caught off guard by the sudden question.

Ace shuffled the rest of the cards and held out the deck. "Put it anywhere in this deck." he said closing his eyes so she wouldn't say he was cheating. He noticed the book she was reading which was a main concern. After he was through with the trick he would ask her if she could see ghosts.

She looked at the deck a little, putting the card back in the deck. "Alright, done.."

Ace opened his eyes when given the word. "Okay watch carefully..." he said starting to shuffle his cards. He finished shuffling the cards and showed her the card on top. "Is this your card..." he asked with a smile.

"Thank you might I ask you a question?" Ace asked putting his deck away in his deck protector he keeps strapped to his thigh. He looked at her with a questioning look before going on. "Can you see 'ghosts'?"

Ruka Kusabana Captain of Squad 9 There was absolutely nothing to do in Soul Society. No one to spar with and she had finished all her paperwork. Ruka was bored.
Which was why she was currently wandering around the mall in a reiatsu disguising gigai. She melted into the crowd easily, it was fun when no one knew that you were a shinigami. It was fun to just wave and smile at people you didn't know, to interact with the everyday world and not have to worry about some kind of attack. Normally when she was out in her gigai she carried around a wooden kendo sword. Weak, yes, but quite effective against a human. Today she had decided that she would leave it behind; she didn't think anything bad would happen and even if it did she had soul candy in her pocket.

Abeandra blinked again. "Ghosts? Wha-..." she looked down to her book. "Oh... this? ... well... um... ... I'm not sure... I'm actually just doing some research... I.. recently heard a story about some kind of spirit or demon or something that eats souls... trying to see if I can find anything to enforce that story..."

"Hollows then?" Ace asked slightly knowing that she was lying to him. He sighed and was considering to show her his skills.

"Hollows? Is that what they're called?" She looked frustrated, looking back at the book. "I haven't seen anything about anything like that in these books." she put the book back, turning to him. "What do you know about it?"

"Yes. They're souls that couldn't find peace, in my thought's at least..." Ace said looking at the girl, "what's your name." he asked.
