You know what's available in stores and you know what you've designed in programs or even on graph paper (brave soul!), but what if there was a PERFECT pattern already made, that came to you floss and all? What would your "dream pattern" be?

Oh man, I'm about to get totally dorky here lol. For starters, I would love some complex Disney patterns, not the cheap ones you can get at Walmart for beginners. But big scenes that are very busy and colorful. I would also love some Nightmare Before Christmas patterns similar to what I described above, but I have never seen any, of any kind, ever *pout*

At the moment though I really want this artist to do some Lord of the Rings artwork because I really love his style and think that he could do a lot with different locations in the movies/books, like the Shire for example. Then I want Heaven and Earth Designs to chart it up so I can stitch it. Alas, this will never happen *sigh*

Edited to add: Thanks Scribbler!

If you put your whole post into a quote, it will make the links appear. Just one of those glitches. ^_~

Man, Lord of the Rings patterns would kick a**! I'm not much of a Disney buff, but Emporer's New Groove patterns would be kinda fun. ^^ And YES to patterns done on black cloth!

One of my dream patterns would be more anime cross stitch, I barely even care what character or series! A nice, medium size that included outlining. That's the suckiest part of making my own patterns from images. The program just doesn't convert lines into lines, it smudges them up! gonk So for once, doing an anime character without having to worry about placing outlines in the right places would be a fun break. ^_^

Man, someone totally needs to jump in on the anime market, looks like it could be quite lucrative lol. I'm not particularly interested in anime patterns, but from what I've seen here and elsewhere it seems that a lot of people my age and younger would be totally into them, and I bet a lot of people would learn how to cross stitch just to do those patterns. I can't believe there aren't any pattern makers out there who haven't figured this out yet.

there probably would be, and i know a girl who makes some for her personal art but she would never give you a pattern (sad), who ever made the patterns would have to buy a licens to make them. and it would be a sepret licens for every anime, no need to tell you how exspincive that would be. we could make anime patterns becouse they would be considered fan art but we couldent sell them, that would be iligal ~sigh~

my dream patterns would be Anime, of course, i couldn't find any. Also I'd like a plain Doraemon pattern, and a Poring (Ragnarok Online monster) design would be just delightful. I wish I could find any of those, I'm afraid most experts don't realize their existence (i meant the anime) ><

same here but the only problem with that is its a cuppel million dollars to buy the license to do patterns like that legally. its not to hard to make your own anime patterns though.
