What do you think Slayer's new album, that is set to come out this year I think, will be like? They said it'll be a combination of God Hates us All and Seasons in the Abyss. I personally think Slayer still has the abilities to compose old Slayer type songs (I've lost hope in Metallica for their new album). I'm just hoping it's nothing like God Hates Us All, and a lot more like Seasons in the Abyss.

Yeah, I read the news article about it on Ultimate-Guitar.
I'm hoping for something slightly softer, strange as it is.
I liked Metallica's change for one album (I just hope they dont keep with it). Not only that, but I really think Slayer could do a good CD without the thrash feel.
Dont get me wrong here, I love the solos, the power, and bass. I love Slayer as is, but I want a change, just for one album....then come back with an uber-er. CD

Antics Yeah, I read the news article about it on Ultimate-Guitar. I'm hoping for something slightly softer, strange as it is. I liked Metallica's change for one album (I just hope they dont keep with it). Not only that, but I really think Slayer could do a good CD without the thrash feel. Dont get me wrong here, I love the solos, the power, and bass. I love Slayer as is, but I want a change, just for one album....then come back with an uber-er. CD I personally just want Araya to start singing again. That's the one thing I ask from the new album. Just for him to stop his shitty screaming from God Hates Us All and get back to the "Show No Mercy" days singing, he was an amazing vocalist back then. But I think, if anything, they need to get thrashier. God Hates Us All was avery modern album, and wasn't really thrash like it should be. They should get back to their old styles.
