At the moment, I only have one small shelf for me to put books on. The rest have to be stored in boxes.
On that shelf I have put anything relevant to writing/my current WIP.
*The real witches' kitchen *Punctuation *Classic tales of the supernatural *From Acorns... *The novel Writer's toolkit *How to write science fiction and fantasy *The white goddess *How not to write a novel *The white ladder diaries *How to write a damn good novel *The writing and critique group survival guide *Under my skin *Myths, legends and monsters *Pen on fire *myths and legends *Plato: selected myths *The shaman and the magician *heaven and hell *The first five pages *The golden age of myth and legend *Writing a novel and getting published for dummies
What's on your shelf?

I'm getting me a Kindle cause I'm running out of bookshelf. But right now I have a couple sections...
-Educamationable * textbooks the university wouldn't buy back including fascinating topics like Fundamentals of Financial Management, Computer Graphics (outdated and not the fun graphics either - more like how to program affine transformations), Principles of Marketing, and Database Processing (also outdated). Status: gathering dust. * Textbooks I didn't want to sell back including C++ Essentials, Mapping the World of Harry Potter, The Ivory Tower and Harry Potter, American Culture, With His Pistol in His Hand, Folk Groups and Folklore Genres, and a few others I can't read the titles of from my desk.
-Legends and History * The Fairy Book. I have all of them. * Tibetan Folk Tales * Folk Tales from Simla * Story of the Irish Race * The Chronicles of the Celts * Fairy & Folk Tales of Ireland * Myths & Legends of the Celtic Race (excellent book, takes a scholarly angle on the myth cycles instead of just retelling them) * Are you noticing a theme? I could keep going. * The Sword & the Mind * Medieval Holidays and Festivals * About five books of medieval illuminations
-Recreational * The Dresden Files series * Coldfire trilogy * Harry Potter * Magister trilogy * Codex Alera series * The Instrumentalities of the Night series * some World of Warcraft novels that were a total waste of money * Bard (wonderful telling of how Amgerin led the Irish to Ireland) * Watership Down * Book of the Dun Cow and Book of Sorrows (I cried SO MUCH) * Various classics like Ivanhoe, Shakespeare, Sherlock Holmes, Dracula, etc. * World War Z * The Zombie Survival Guide
-Manga/graphic novels * Naruto * Fullmetal Alchemist * MeruPuri * Watchmen * V for Vendetta * Artesia (best graphic novel I have EVER read)
And there you have it. None of that is organized. Sherlock Holmes is crammed next to 44 Irish Short Stories which is resting against Business Communications which is supporting Fight Club. It's a nightmare trying to find anything. One of these days I'll fix that.

I have so many books right now. They're all kinda stuffed onto my wardrobe shelf since I have nowhere else to put them here in my dorm. xD My library includes "Cows, Pigs, Wars, and Witches," an excellent anthropology book, The Handmaid's Tale, 1984, some Dan Brown, The Road, Man's Search for Meaning, and oh God, I don't even know what else, and I don't feel like moving because my bed is comfy. XD

Well I'm not going to write all the titles seeing as my bookshelf is rather large (and overflowing I might add), but I'll give you an idea of whats there.
Many Harlequin Romance Novels (old ones from the 80's and 90's. My mom doesn't throw any books out) Nora Roberts: The Irish Series The Three Sister's Trilogy The In The Garden Trilogy The Blood Brothers Triology Many others
Stephen King: Nightmares and Dreamscapes Bag of Bones Misery Dreamcatcher Hearts In Atlantis IT 1st, 2nd & 3rd Dark Tower Series
Maggie Shanye Twilight Series(yes, I read it...) Night World Series Iris Johansen (spelled that wrong me thinks) Nicholas Sparks Karen Marie Moning Debbie McComber (spelled wrong more than likely...) J.K. Rowling J.R.R. Tolkien Dean Koontz
And many, many others....trust me. I can't see them all thats how many books are on my shelf.

Since I've gotten stuck on your planet only recently, my collection of Earth books is very small. I only have The Dark Glory War by Micheal A. Stackpole (I think) right now.

{This is what Esmeralda has to say.} Everything and anything. Teen books, classics, how-to books, even an American Sign Language Dictionary. I even have some mangas, which generally live with my art books. (I try to draw well, but I have problems with hands and feet and proportions.) I really ought to get rid of some of my teen books. Art thanks to Sioga and her shop.
