◤xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx◥ ★ _ ★ _ ★ xxxxxxx»xxx( KayleeLane ) - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -xxxxxxxxx i'll keep tossin' rocks at your window.xxxxxx♥ ♥ xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx After stopping by very quickly to get her room key, Kaylee went to the dorms to drop her stuff off, then was going to explore the campus. Maybe. She opened the door, and was instantly hit with the stench of the room. It wasn't bad, it was just stuffy, and stale. No one was probably in here since the last people who lived here. The first thing she did was open the window.
It was just a big room, basically divided into 2, with a lot of white. Kaylee had expected this. Each side came with tall twin beds against the wall with space under to put stuff in, with a night stand right next to it. Also in the room was a desk with shelving above and a bunch of unnecessary drawers. Above the bed hung a long cork bulletin board. Also, an organized closet system with a place to hang clothes, a place to put folded clothes, and drawers. The manual said that the furniture wasn't confined to where it was placed, and that there was still space in the room. (Basing this off the only dorm I've ever been in >_>)
Kaylee took a deep breath, coughing slightly at the dust in the air, zipped open her suitcase to unpack, then shrugged, and shoved it under her bed, claiming the right side. Unpacking just didn't seem like the proper thing to do right now, so she left it for some other time. It wasn't like she needed anything right now, anyways. She looked up and down the room, then sighed.
She didn't expect anything great as far as dorms, and this place wasn't bad, but man was it depressing! It was empty for one. Everything was white, and looked stiff. The only thing that wasn't white was the carpet, a dark blue, probably to hide stains, and the naked mattresses an old lady peach. She shrugged. Hopefully the stuff she brought would make this place more lively. As well as her roommate's stuff.
Kaylee sighed when she realized she had a roommate. Hopefully she was nice, and they would get along well... Because if not, this would be a long year. She sat on her bed, waiting for nothing in particular. The teen was going to go school supply shopping soon, but she wanted to meet her roommate as soon as possible.. Maybe she would show up soon. ~Danni Ozma~ ▄ ▀▄ ▀▄ ▀▄ ▀▄ ▀▄ ▀▄ ▀▄ ▀▄ Danni slowly made her way to the dorms, getting lost every now and then. She wondered how she would ever find her way. Her shiny Swablu was of great help. It flew in front of her at times and showed her the right direction. She had found the dorm director faster than she had the principal and the blue haired girl received her room key and number. After several more minutes of searching, Danni and her Swablu had found their room.
Gently, the girl nudged the door open. The room was rather plain, although she wouldn't complain. She recalled the dorm director saying she'd be sharing the room with someone. In fact, her roommate was already here. The unknown girl had claimed the right side. Which was fine with Danni. She'd liked it better when others made the decisions. The blue haired teen smiled at the other girl, weakly.
"H-hi," she managed to squeeze out before rushing to her bed. Danni wasn't used to dealing with other people, especially those near her own age. She sat her new bag on her bed. Her other belongings were arriving a little late. Her parents had to send them. Danni had forgotten them at home.
Her Swablu flew around the dorm, investigating everything it could. When he was done with Danni's side, he continued onto her roommate's. His trainer began to call him back but realized she hadn't given him a name. The Swablu continued on and landed on the strawberry blond girl's bed. ◤xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx◥ ★ _ ★ _ ★ xxxxxxx»xxx( KayleeLane ) - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -xxxxxxxxx i'll keep tossin' rocks at your window.xxxxxx♥ ♥ xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Just like Kaylee was expecting, her roommate came in moments later. This girl had blue hair, blue eyes, and blue clothes. She found it just a little bit strange. Wow, that's a lot of blue. She thought to herself, at first, then paused to think again. I should be glad it's not neon yellow she's wearing. Kaylee said, nudging herself to look at the bright side of things, something she didn't do often.
The girl mumbled a nervous 'Hi' then sat on the other vacant bed. All she had with her was a golden Swablu and a small bag that came with the things the principal gave. It seems that Kaylee forgot to pick one up. She looked around for any other bags, but didn't see any. "Where's all your bags? Surely you brought something." Kaylee asked, curious.
She then mentally kicked her self for starting the conversation out weird. "Uh... forget I said that." She paused. "...Yeah, my name is Kaylee Lane." She said, looking down shyly at her feet. Her roommate's Swablu finished examining the room and settled on her bed. Kaylee realized, she had a Pokemon as well now. She fumbled around in her pockets for the Pokeball that Mr. Blunder's had gave her and let it out.
A Bulbasaur materialized onto her bed, then saw Kaylee and pounced on her. It seemed to know that she was it's owner. That was always good. Kaylee, feeling a little overwhelmed, gently picked up the Bulbasaur and set it next to her. It wiggled a bit, but stayed where it was put. Kaylee put a hand on it's head. "Oh, that's right. I have yet to give you a name. First I'll scan you, alright?" Hopefully her roommate wouldn't mind that she talked to the Pokemon, and hopefully she wouldn't mind if she also scanned her Swablu, because that's what she did. She replaced the Pokedex in her pocket, and petted the Bulbasaur once again. What would be a good name for him?
She thought back to her hometown, Cinnabar. She remembered a boy that she looked up to, around 5 years older than she, that had a Bulbasaur. His name was Emile. "Hm, well, I'm going to name you Emile." She said to the Bulbasaur. She didn't know what she would do if he didn't like it. Emile nodded excitedly though, and jumped back onto her lap happily. ~Danni Ozma~ ▄ ▀▄ ▀▄ ▀▄ ▀▄ ▀▄ ▀▄ ▀▄ ▀▄ Bags. Her roommate, Kaylee Lane, had asked her where her bags were. Even though a few seconds later, Kaylee had told to forget it but Danni couldn't. "You s-see, I k-kinda forgot them at home. I-i didn't notice till I was half way here. S-so one of my siblings is bringing them and they should be here soon....hopefully. Oh a-and I'm Danni. Danni Ozma."
Danni fiddled with the bag the principal had given her as Kaylee sent out her own Pokemon a Bulbasaur. She watched as her roommate scanned the two Pokemon. So that's how you work it. The Swablu chirped when Emile received his name. The shiny Swablu looked expectantly at his trainer.
"Oh, a name, right. Ummmmm......how about Carl?" The Swablu shook his head no. "Lupin?" Another no. "Sonic?" No. "Carl-wait, I already said that. Well, what about Lucky?" She was doubtful this one was going to get picked. She wasn't sure about any of the names. The flying Pokemon thought it over for several minutes before finally nodding a confirmation. "You sure?" Yes.
Lucky jumped from the bed and flew circles around his trainer. Danni held up her Pokedex to try and scan her Swablu. The Pokedex made a few protesting beeps. Confused, Danni looked over at Kaylee. "U-um, I'm sorry but d-do you know h-how to work this?" We're at: Room 301 Mental state: Nervous Gained: tab

Kay nodded politely, and a smiled crossed her face as Danni tried to explain the missing bags. "That happens to me sometimes, too. When I'm nervous." Kaylee said in reply, a humorous tone added to her voice. She patted Emile away as he started sniffing her clothes. "That's fine." She said, looking up at Danni.
She watched Danni go through the same process to name her Pokemon as well. She ended up settling on the name Lucky; a light, happy name. Quite the opposite of her Bulbasaur's name. Kaylee shrugged, then flipped over so she was laying on her stomach, then hung her head and arms over the bed to retrieve her wallet from the suitcase under the bed, then put it in her skirt pocket.
Kaylee saw that Danni was having a bit of trouble scanning Lucky with her Pokedex, and had asked Kaylee to help her with it. She hesitated, but made her way to the other side of the dorm. "Uh...I-I don't know why it's not working. That's how I used it... just now." Kaylee said while she thought.
She shrugged, then heard Danni's Pokedex beep in a weird jingle-type song. "Um, maybe try it now? I'm sorry that I'm no help." She shrugged again, also confused. She made her way back to her bed.
A second later, Emile was back in his Pokeball, and the Pokeball was in his trainer's pocket. Kaylee crossed her arms awkwardly. "Well, I think I'm gonna take a trip to the Pokemon Center, or wherever you buy school supplies. Er, because... I don't have any..." The teen fiddled with the embroidery on her wallet and looked at her feet. "It'd be awesome if you came, though... If you need school supplies." ~Danni Ozma~ ▄ ▀▄ ▀▄ ▀▄ ▀▄ ▀▄ ▀▄ ▀▄ ▀▄ Danni tried the Pokedex again, like Kaylee told her. This time it worked. It scanned the Swablu, displaying its information. "Thank you. No, you were help. I'm useless with things."
Danni was surprised when her roommate invited her to go shopping for supplies. She needed supplies also. The blue haired girl had never been invited anywhere. That was mainly because she steered clear of others and often didn't make a decision in time. Just like now. Options were running through her head. As soon as she decided one, she started to question it. During her thinking, Lucky landed on her head and chirped. He wanted to go and pecked his trainer, informing her so. "Ah, yes. We'll come."
