what is your favorite intro or opening theme?
well its hard to decide because tales of series always have the best intro. the character move along with the rhysm, they put a fighting scene in intro, great drawing and the animation.
I personally love tales of destiny 2 intro, key to my heart by mai kuraki.
I tired to sing but its very high pitched. sweatdrop
I don't know that TOP and TOE has opening theme so I put other.

I was originally going to do this for the Character fight thread thing... but I guess it doesn't make that much sense since it is CHARACTER fight thread.
So this topic is 100% approved by me.
Though, if you don't mind, I'm going to remove the poll and redo it. This time with ToP and ToE's intro theme.
"Yume wa Owaranai" (The Dream Will Not End) and "Flying"

Heh... Isn't Tales Of Destiny's called "Star In The Sky", in English? They both aren't "dream" related... (And to be exact, and sorry if I'm incorrect really for either of these, but I was thinking Yume Wa Owaranai was "The Dream Will Never Die". O..o)
My favourites are Yume Wa Owaranai, Yume De Aru Youni, Key To My Heart, Starry Heavens, and Karma. Well... I suppose Tales Of Destiny's or Phantasia's are my real favourites. The others are just the ones I like. Any others... Neh.

As well, though "The Dream Will Not Die" could TECHNICALLY work, the real translation is "The Dream Will Not End". Yume is "Dream" (again). The base verb, "Owaru" means "to end". The "-nai" form of the verb means "won't/will not". So the song really does translate to "The Dream Will Not End". If the direct translation WAS "The Dream Will Not Die" then the song would be called, "Yume wa Shinanai". From the base verb... I don't like the verb, and a lot of other people don't either. Like my Japanese Teacher. ...yeah.

I love Karma, but the Playstation Phantasia's Yume Wa song is just so...so majestic. biggrin Karma's awesome the first time (Or...few hundred times. gonk ), but Owaranai I can always listen to.
Key to my Heart also deserves attention from me, due to the fact that I can actually understand most of the lyrics. Go me.

Anyway, I voted for Yume Wa Owaranai, but I was close to choosing Karma. That song has been stuck in my head a lot lately. That and Kiseki from Tales of Commons. 3nodding

I voted for Karma...
Forgive me Klarth. It was just there... and no one was paying attention to it, so I voted for it.
I also timed it's TotA's OP with ToD2's... TotA wins the "Longest Opening" award. I guess that's how the rest of the song gets stuck in my head...

Though I liked both Legendia's 'TAO' and 'Soshite Bokuni Dekiru Koto...' from PS2 Symphonia very much, I still think that Phantasia's 'Yume wa Owaranai ~Kobore Ochiru Toki no Shizuku' still stands on top of all the others, IMO. Personally, I call Yume wa Owaranai, 'Dreams Never End' in English. Don't ask me why, though I do know that it probrably has something to do with my natural instincts.

I'd have to say Karma. It's stuck to my brain. It's the only song I've been listen to for the past days. But other than that I really like Key To My Heart.
