SQUAD 0
In the times of old, when the Seireitei was young and unruly, there were fourteen court guard squads.
1 through 13 was commonly known, but legend told of a fourteenth, squad 0, which functioned in the shadows. Only the captain
general knew of this hidden squad. Squad 0 was a special squad, which had only one function, perfection. There were only
fifteen members of the squad. Each had mastered a certain aspect of being a shinigami, which catered to a specific squad.
They were also numbered off from 0-14, and the members’ number corresponded with what their specialty was. These shinigami
were handpicked by the squad 0 captain, and are, by legend, stronger than the current captains of the Gotei 13. The numbers
went as followed:
The shinigami with the tattoo 1 was next in line to become leader of squad 1, until squad 0 was forgotten. The shinigami
with this rank is also lieutenant of squad 0.
The shinigami with the tattoo 2 was next in line to become leader of squad 2 until squad 0 was forgotten. Little is known
about this shinigami besides that he/she functions in the shadows, specializing in assassinations.
The shinigami with the tattoo 3 was next in line to become leader of squad 3 until squad 0 was forgotten. This shinigami is
a defensive expert whose zanpakuto reflects as much.
The shinigami with the tattoo 4 was next in line to become leader of squad 4 until squad 0 was forgotten. This shinigami
specializes in healing and repairing things.
The shinigami with the tattoo 5 was next in line to become leader of squad 5 until squad 0 was forgotten. This shinigami is
a master of combining kido with physical combat.
The shinigami with the tattoo 6 was next in line to become leader of squad 6 until squad 0 was forgotten. This shinigami has
a iron-hard moral code and follows all the laws of the Seireitei.
The shinigami with the tattoo 7 was next in line to become leader of squad 7 until squad 0 was forgotten. This shinigami was
an expert in hollow extermination.
The shinigami with the tattoo 8 was next in line to become leader of squad 8 until squad 0 was forgotten. This shinigami is
a dark horse, as no one is quite sure what they know.
The shinigami with the tattoo 9 was next in line to become leader of squad 9 until squad 0 was forgotten. This shinigami is
an expert on subtlety and investigation.
The shinigami with the tattoo 10 was next in line to become leader of squad 10 until squad 0 was forgotten. This shinigami
is a highly trained operative that specializes in shinigami-human relations.
The shinigami with the tattoo 11 was next in line to become leader of squad 11 until squad 0 was forgotten. This shinigami
specializes in heavy combat.
The shinigami with the tattoo 12 was next in line to become leader of squad 12 until squad 0 was forgotten. This shinigami
lacks a sense of humanity, and because of this is highly intelligent and logical and has troubles understanding emotion.
The shinigami with the tattoo 13 was next in line to become leader of squad 13 until squad 0 was forgotten. This shinigami
specializes in strategy, rather than actual combat.
The shinigami with the tattoo 14 was next in line to become leader of the Kido Corps until squad 0 was forgotten. This
shinigami is a kido master.
Besides them, there is a fifteenth member, who possesses the tattoo 0. She is the leader of the forgotten squad 0, and was
feared as the most deadly of all shinigami of her time. She has only used his shikai once, though no one ever knew its name.
When he used it, the legend of the grim reaper spawned from it, as the human he saved saw a black cloak and a scythe.
Squad 0 was active for many centuries, and was usually reserved for dealing with threats that only they could handle. Usually
involving Vasto Lordes, being the only hollows that can challenge them. Only Captain General Yamamoto had known about them,
as the squad was frozen during the Seireitei's time of peace. When Aizen betrayed the Seireitei, Yamamoto considered releasing
squad 0, but was killed by Aizen before he was able too. With the death of Yamamoto, squad 0 remained in anonymity, unable to
act without being unsealed. The seal that was keeping them back has held for many years. However, it is finally broken down,
although none realize it.
Squad 0 is released. They want revenge. And they will stop at nothing to attain it.

Rules:
1. Characters are pretty open ended. You can be a cannon character, or a original character.
You could be a cannon character from the future, or the long lost descendant of someone else.
Make up your character and have fun!
2. Follow normal gaian rules.
3. Members of squad 0 are allowed a certain degree of Openness while they are unknown. No one in the Seireitei is at their level yet, so you'll need to train before you can beat one.
However some captains maybe able to.
4. PM all profiles with the proper skeleton and headings.
"We rise for revenge." Being a squad 0member
"We stand to defend." Being a shinigami
"We fall for ourselves." Being a hollow/arrancar
"We battle with our hearts." Being a quincy
"We fight for our beliefs." Being a human
"We live." Being a vizard
5.If you are a human with special abilities, they can not be that powerful. Your powers can defeat a basic hollow, but you can not battle against a squad 0 member, or an arrancar. You maybe able to fight against other shinigami.
6. Please be semi-literate.
7. No god modding!
8. I am god here.

Her mother would not tolerate anything that had to deal with a Shinigami.Often Yaone was disciplined physically because of this. From a young age Yaone was gifted with knives and daggers. So much so she often just took what she wanted and no one stood in her way for fear of being hurt. Yaone usually never liked to cause problems for anyone, but she would do what she had to to survive. Yaone had no friends, just her mother. Her mother died shortly after she contracted an illness. The shinigami begged him for help in defeating a hollow. Nate being the kind of person who would help anyone agreed and took on the role of a Soul Reaper. Other captains thought of him as strange for preforming the tasks of the average Soul Reaper, but Ikaharu did it anyway. Most of his experiaments lead to failure, resulting in the deaths of some of his tests subjects. While his practises were frowned upon, Maiyuri found these experiaments to quite intreaguing. When it was time for Kenshin to take over the squad, Maiyuri left his entire lab, reaserch, experiaments, etc. to him, to continue the legacy of Squad 12: The Squad of Reaserch and Development. Bio: Originally from squad 6 during his younger years due to his advancement of developing his spiritual powers. He was sent by Byakuya on an investigation mission with Captain Aizen (Before he defected against the soul society). His original shikai looked like that of a gauntlet with shurikan attachments, but during the mission a larger hollow attacked him and captain Aizen. Trying to prove himself, Toshin leapt at the hollow and ended up being eaten instead. Little did he realize that Aizen had been doing the incantation of Hado 90 Black Coffin and when he was swallowed, Aizen unleashed the hado at the hollow... The spears pierced the hollow and impaled Toshin... He was left for dead and had fainted due to the loss of blood... When he awoke, he was in Urahara's shop. Quickly Urahara explained that the reason when Toshin didn't heal faster than he bled was because the hollow's blood and Black coffin energies had simply put... poisoned him... Urahara then said that he had used a prototype antidote (of the sort) to rid his body of the toxins, but instead it mutated and caused the normal cells, hollow blood, and black coffin energy to fuse together. After Urahara said this, Toshin soon realized that he had the full incantation of Hado 90 under his clothes... Also he realized that his spirit had mutated into what it is today: Dokeshimasa Appearance: I am in the process of his drawing... But he has long black hair that drapes onto his shoulders and wears glasses that a slightly square and stylish. He is about average height and weight. When entering shikai, his personality changes into the gambling type while still keeping the intelligence... Powers: there are a wide variety .. one of these is since his spiritual energy and blood is altered, when he bleeds, he can use the blood in many ways as if it were a black coffin use..

He had always been aware of ghosts, hollows and shinigami and was being taught by his parents every other night and every weekend. As a Quincy he excelled, quickly getting better at quickly absorbing Reishi and shooting arrows in succession. His older sister always helped him when he struggled with something, both regular schoolwork or Quincy training. Everything was going fine until his tenth birthday..that day Jin, his parents and sister were driving to a restaurant for his party when they were hit by a truck.. his parents died on site while he and his sister survived, but badly injured. From then on he and his sister took care of each other, though Jin was noticeably less emotional toward others. After another few years he and his sister went out to train in a wooded area away from their town. It was there that he felt the spirit of a high level hollow fighting his sister and he rushed to get to her..but arrived too late..a strange girl was bound to a tree and his sister was bleeding on the ground. Jin cradled his sister in his arms as she spoke to him in a feeble voice, asking him to take the girl, the hollow, with her last breath. At first Jin was furious and glared at the hollow, but after burying his sister he took the hollow back home. Jin knew of the seal that was placed on the hollow, it was a binding seal that severely weakened the person if they went against a preset list of rules that is made when placed. After a while he got used to living with her and her attitude. Jin is overall easy to get along with and acts nice to most everyone, but he can switch to being serious or ready to fight in a heartbeat. Appearance:

She stayed away from the events that followed thinking that she was above taking orders from a defected Shinigami. In the end it seemed she made a good choice once the battle between defect Shinigami and their impure Arrancar versus the Gotei 13 and Vizard was decided. Years later Rem decided to venture into the human world to seek out and harvest strong souls, the first person she found was a woman with the ability to conjure a bow and arrow out of Reishi, a Quincy.. Ren and the Quincy fought for nearly an hour before the Quincy pinned her to the ground by shooting strange arrows into her arms, legs and waist. Instead of making a finishing blow the Quincy made some strange seal or something on her stomach. At first the seal felt like it was burning, then a few seconds later it felt fine, but she looked like a human child. Another Quincy came and came to the woman's side, but after a few words were exchanged the woman passed away. Rem expected the second Quincy to finish her with the look he had, but instead he took her to his home and they've been together since. She was reluctant and angry at first because the seal bound her to the Quincy, but after a few years she didn't mind as much and got along well with the Quincy..with Jin. Rem is a bit self centered, even her power partially sealed. She'll act sweet, but will snap now and then if she doesn't get her way. Appearance:

Yaone walked out of her room, and went down to her squad barracks. She heard a lot of noise coming from them. Opening the door Yaone asked, "What the hell is going on?"
One of her subordinates stood up and said, "There is a rumor floating around that the seretei is not safe and might be under attack."
"And just exactly who did you hear this from?" Yaone commanded.
"I'm not sure captain." He said.
Yaone was displeased with the answer. "Fine, as you were." A hell butterfly then came and requested that an all captains meeting was to be taking place. Yaone dismissed herself from her squad and made her way to the meeting room.
