Viene had been wandering...as usual. What was she looking for today? Ah well memory comes and goes, and on this particular day it was gone for Viene. She came to clearing where she watched the tall grass sway in the wind. Just listening, watching feeling the wind in her fur. Yes she was alone, she felt the hole inside her, but it was this, that hole which kept her searching for more.
She daydreamed as she watched the blue sky flicker in and out of the grass. Then she noticed movement, something too fast to be the sky. She crouched down low to the ground, she saw a set of blue paws running through the field.
"Another wolf!" she gasped. Picking her head up slightly she tried to get a better view. She could only see a flickering of his coat. A sharp blue and white just like the sky above. He moved so fast between the grasses she could barely keep track of him. He was moving fast.
Suddenly Viene felt her own feet moving across the ground, bounding after the other wolf. What was she doing? she thought. Not seeing many other wolves perhaps made her excited? She couldn't remember. In any case a nice run was a good way to start the day.

Viene ran through the woods the cool autumn air blowing through her fur, it invigorated her. She darted in between the trees, and called back to him.
