It took a few minutes for Sherra to adjust to the change in temperature. The icy wind smashed against her face, and stung on her recently healed injuries. Lord Grausherra was the most reclusive of the Monster Lords, and so made his base in the far north, away from all other civilizations. It wasn't bad tactic wise. Not many would brave the unceasing snow storms to try and attack them here. Sherra continued with these thoughts as she slowly trudged through the knee deep snow up to the castle's massive wooden doors. A small area of about twenty feet had been cleared, so the doors could open with ease, and Sherra felt relief at leaving the numbing ice behind her. Tucking a strand of loose hair behind her ear, she then proceeded to open the old creaky doors and go inside. There was no warmth to greet her, just dark stone walls and air almost colder than that outside. Why was it too much to ask to have a fire burning? Lady Zelas has been spoiling me...the cold didn't bother me in the slightest before... she thought to herself as she made her way towards the throne room, where she knew Lord Grausherra was waiting.
Sure enough, the Supreme King was standing near one of the large windows, his back to her. He was what most women would expect a prince to look like: tall with short midnight black hair and pale sky blue eyes. Everything about him was refined and composed, from his white and gold armor to his stance. He was the sort of man girls would swoon over. Sherra might've developed feelings for him as well, had she not gotten a full taste of what his personality was like on the first day of her existence. Cold, unemotional, cruel; those were just a few of the words that could describe Lord Grausherra. He never cared for her, she was a number; a pawn that he could warp and bend into whatever would suit his purposes. The sad thing was Sherra let him.
"You recovered faster than I expected." he said after a moment, not even turning to look at his servant. He just continued to gaze at whatever had been holding his attention outside. Sherra nodded slowly, making sure to keep her eyes on the ground.
"I was told that you wished to see me, my lord. I wasn't about to make you wait..." she answered tonelessly. She conducted herself very differently when in her master's presense. The smug teasing attitude was gone, replaced by a cold and unemotional exterior. Any emotions she may have felt at the time, were locked away within her where no one could see them.
Lord Grausherra seemed pleased with her answer, for she sensed a small hint of emotion in his voice when he spoke again. "You may return to your room. Remain there until I send for you again."
"Yes, my lord." she answered quietly, dipping her head in a respectful bow, before going to leave. She was mere seconds from grabbing the doorknob when he spoke again. "Are you curious about what your punishment will be?" She could feel her heartbeat pick up, and she bowed her head to conceall her face beneath her bangs. "I would never question you." she replied, and then quietly left the throne room.
After a few minutes she reached her bedroom and flopped onto her king sized bed. Once again she was bored and had nothing to do. She'd even be grateful for a surprise visit from Levi right now. Anything to get her mind off things.

Sherra was silent for a long while, debating over what she should reveal, and what to keep secret. "I just don't see the point in worrying anymore. He can do whatever he wants to me. That's just how it is. Worrying only makes things worse." she answered calmly. She knew that that was probably not the answer Levi wants to hear, but that was the truth of the situation. She was just an extension of his body, if she didn't do what he wanted, then it was within his power to punish her. He could reabsorb her if he saw fit. And the only way to avoid that, was to obey him without question or complaint.

The general shook her head slowly at Levi's remark. "I'm afraid in this case it doesn't work that way. I think you have more freedom from your lord than I do from mine." she answered. She didn't think that he understood just how bound she was to Grausherra. "How much can your lord control you, Levi? Can he cause you agonizing pain just by thinking about it? No matter how far apart you are from him? Can he make you come back to him no matter how hard you may struggle?" What she was mentioning were things that she had experienced during the first few decades of her life, when she hadn't been as loyal. She'd learned pretty quickly.

Sherra let out an irritated sigh, and then grabbed onto the back of his shirt. "You're not listening. It just doesn't work that way within the Monster Race. I'm not scared of what he'll do to me. I'm just doing my job; what I was created to do. That's what Xel is doing, and everyone else. Talking to him will only cause trouble: that I'll be held responsible for. Do you want to get me into that type of trouble?" she asked intentively. Besides, Lord Grausherra wasn't even in the castle. He had gone to see Dolphin, the only Lord he associated with. It was how he kept an eye on what was going on with Zelas. Of course she wasn't about to tell Levi where they would be. She wasn't stupid.

She looked at the neko demon for a moment, easily reading his emotions. "I do appreciate your wanting to help me. I'll only get into trouble if I start disobeying orders." she then smirked slightly. "Besides. I have a good record that stretches a good thousand years or so. I'm basically his favorite, so the punishments will never be too bad." In a way she was supposedly being punished right now. Sherra hated being stuck in one place with nothing to do. She was too used to having to find a rare artifact or spy on an individual that may prove useful. Being bored did not sit well with her as a result.
