i recommend Rebirth it is a great manga with great action and story line

For reading purposes I would highly suggest Godchild of Grand Guignol Orchestra, or Hellsing if you're into dark type story lines, as for making a manga, I have a few ideas of my own.

Rosario + Vampire
Your own creation:
Something based on board games. I think the board patterns would make a beautiful contrast in black and white, and the idea of two(or more) opposing sides is one way to start a plot.

yeah I love writing my own stories but my art is not so good. And yes kuro is awesome but I haven't read Air Gear yet. you might want to look at the Air Gear discussion thread in this forum though biggrin and the Kuro one too

For manga to read, *takes deep breath* gonk , Black Cat, Fruits Basket, Tokyo Mewmew a la Mode, Tokyo Mewmew, Bleach, Claymore, Hellsing, Sailor Moon, Inuyasha, Full Metal Alchemist, Card Captor Sakura, Angel Dust, Erementar Gerad, any of the Puella Magi Madoka Magica manga's, DeathNote, Soul Eater, Soul Eater Not, Haibane Renmei, Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind, Fairy Tail, DNAngel, ummm.... can you tell I read way to much of this stuff. xd xp
