Okay, so now that it's 2006, I want to know what movies everyone enjoyed from the last year.

My two favorites have to be Kung Fu Hustle and Wedding Crashers.

I was expecting Kung Fu Hustle to be cheesy, cliche filled, and over-flowing with terrible acting. Was I ever wrong! Not only were the visuals amazing, but I loved the soundtrack as well.

Wedding Crashers was extremely long, but I still loved it. It was the DVD release I was looking forward to the most. Plus it's just filled with dirty humor that I just eat up. ;B "Let's play tummy sticks!"

i did indeed enjoy those movies. other ones you can add to the list are Howl's Moving Castle (which i loved. but who doesnt like Miyazaki movies? no one. thats who.), Jarhead (true to being a marine story), Hide and seek and Hostel (not really 2005 but i just saw it not so long ago and really liked it).

Ohhh, I loved Jarhead. For a "war" movie, it had nice aesthetics.

Surprisingly, I rather liked Devil's Rejects. I didn't like House of a Thousand Corpses (Rob zombie's other movie) much at all- but DR was much better done and I really appricated it's unique take on things. It blurrs the lines between good guys and bad guys, and makes you think a little.
Er... that is if you can get past the gore. Yes. It's still a little gorey.
Not as gorey as say... Hostil or Texes Chain Saw Massachre (the new one)- but still bad.

i hated HoTC, and i thought Devils Rejects was too predictable. as for gore, eh. doesnt phase me. i goto places like ogrish and rotten. doesnt get much more gorey then that :<

I totally agree with you on the Wedding Crashers, Luci! whee That movie kicked a**. blaugh I saw it in the theaters with my best friend, her mom, and my little brother. ^_^ Good times. xd I do have one complaint though... I mean, I remember laughing pretty much all the way through it, but I sort of feel like I laughed so much that I can't remember a lot.. confused You know?

Another 2005 movie I think was great that I watched here recently with my sister was Sin City.. don't laugh. surprised I don't know what exactly it was about that movie, but I just thought it was totally awesome. gonk heart

I'm a nerd though, and I have to add Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire to the list. xp Yeah, but I'm one of those annoying people that likes to compare and complain about the differences between the movies and the books. blaugh But honestly, I think GoF is so far, the best of the movies. 3nodding Now, that's just my opinion, but also, I have a friend who hasn't read the books but saw GoF in theaters with his girlfriend because she wanted to.. lol... and anyway, even he, a mostly uninterested guy who doesn't really like reading, said that movie actually got him interested in Harry Potter.. So that's impressive.. because he's like.. really critical about -so- many things I like.. stare

surprised And again, I say.. I talk too damn much. gonk Someone shut me up! stressed

At the table, during the... er... jerking off scene everyone in the theater was laughing so hard I couldn't hear what they were talking about!

Ahhh, I loved that movie. Todd was just awesome, teehee!
