Seeming as I'm not closely acquainted with many of you, I thought I'd start another topic (apologies!) in order to get to know you guys better via just general chat, you know? basically. O.o Never been too good at starting discussion topics, so... Eh, well. You know. Uhm... Best way to start this sort of thing is to relate it to the guild itself, methinks...? So... x.x Uh, let's talk favourites? *headdesk* I dunno.

I love Russia, simply for him being so..evil? biggrin
Spain is a fav too, especially when hes with Romano heart

Yeah, character favourites... Or pairing favourites, or favourite episodes, or anything favourited in particular. xD
Gotta say that one of my fav characters is also Russia. <3 Gotta love that guy... xDDD And I do have a bit of a soft spot for China. (that's totally not obvious, amirite?) Also, I love England... Simply because... Well, who couldn't? xD

All right. Favourites, huh?
OK, my favourite is Turkey. My second is Prussia. Then Russia. Then England. Then Spain.
I don't normally go for yaoi (not that I dislike it, though. I am fine with it, seeing as I'm posting as Prussia in a yaoi moment.. XD), but I am fond of Spain x Romano.

Hm..yaoi couples now? Well, Im quite surprised at myself for this..but I quite like the Prussia x Austria thing that's going on. eek Um..Spain and Romano are cute, but I don't really like to see Spain in yaoi pairings. :/ I just don't think it suits him..or maybe I'm biased because I'm RPing Belgium. XD
Japan x England, anyone? wink
Edit: I completely missed Kimuri's second post! My bad razz I wasn't really a fan of England at first...but I did feel so sorry in those episodes where he tried to look for friends. That's probably where the whole England x Japan thing sprung up from...and I just think that even though they do have similar personalities, it'd be fun to watch England come to terms with that. Eh, I'm rambling on, arn't I? xD
Favourite Hetalia moments? Erm. Russia when he first sees Sealand, Austria's vital regions (OF COURSE!), Hungary telling Prussia to give the vital regions back, and the part where we see Switzerland give Lichenstein her ribbon (I found that really cute whee ).

For Spain... I only like Spain x Romano and Spain x Belgium. XD But I do believe that Spain belongs to France since Spain has no clue about France's manipulative personality and is completely wrapped around France's finger. XD
He's too oblivious for major romance, so it will always be unnoticed. XD
Japan x England? Japan is seme? Oh, UK(E). XD

Seme is the Japanese term for the dominate partner, and uke is the submissive. People adore putting UK(E) for England, or the United Kingdom. XD

Aaah, such a big discussion! xD I can't say I'm fond of UK/Japan... Then again, not really looked into it much. xD I suppose I'm more mainstream with the old US/UK thing (shoot me xD) and I have a real big soft spot for Russia/China. <3 However, when it comes to Austria and Prussia... Oh Jeebus, I dunno. xD I mean, I think it's very amusing >=3 But I've also been a bit inclined towards Austria and Switzerland. However, as for which way the pairings are inclined (seme/uke) I can never really settle on. O.o I've traditionally been Prussia/Austria but now I don't know. xD

I could never really agree with the US/UK thing. For one thing, arn't they supposed to be brothers? O_O I know not by blood, but it would be kinda like Switzerland/Lichenstein wouldn't it? And that wouldn't work..at all. Plus, I think England would just end up killing America in the end..and America is just too..um, carefree? (Or oblivious..heh..) To really get into that kind of relationship.
RussiaxChina? xD You really are a fan of the mainstream, eh? razz Personally..I like a Russia/Germany pairing. (can't decide who would be seme in that one xD) Simply for the reason that it'd be interesting to see how much of a pervert Germany is, and Russia is just so kickass awesome ^^ (Gotta love Russia..!)
Having had more thought on it, Prussia/Austria would work. They hate each other so much...and don't they say hate borders on love? xD I think it would turn out that either they'll get really angry with each other..and..yeah..xD Or it'll happen like it is now, a competition to see who is willing to go the furthest.. razz

Heh, US/UK is one of my favourites, so I suppose I'd best defend it, no? To be quite honest, all's fair in love and war, no? ;D To be frank, I find it sweet. Granted, it's not for everyone but bleh. xP I like it. It's alright if ya don't like it. ¬n¬'
It's mainstream, ja, but I love it. xD It's sweet... And the artwork for it in the web isn't bad either. =D It's adorable. never heard of the Russia/Germany though o.o To be honest, I think there's too much masculinity in that pairing, ahahaha xDDD <3 But if not Russia, then China'd be alone... D=

He's gotta be one of my favourite characters though...<3

While I do believe that US x UK is cute as hell, I don't think it would really work. England is too angsty. America would have trouble even trying to figure out he was upset. I think England needs someone who is able to read him, knowing when he should be babied and when he should be left alone.
Once you get passed Prussia's wall of narcissism, he's actually pretty pathetic. Behind all narcissists, there tends to be a major self-consciousness and the need to be in control of the situation. He's a pretty intriguing character.
As usual, I probably delved too deep into the character.. sweatdrop
