 Kira followed in silently in her cat form. She'd rather stay out of the eyes of Mika's parents.

 Kira leapt lightly out of Mika's arms onto her bed. "That might not have been the best way but at least they know" Kira streached out "What's your fathers name?" she asked curiously.

With a small POP Kira turned back into her shinigami form. "Your father was once a shinigami like me, and your mother was the human he was assigned to, he couldn't kill her and broke about a hundred shinigami laws but he somehow came back as a human"
