Rayne walks in and heads for the book store. A few minutes later, she walks back out with a stack of textbooks. 'this sucks', she thinks to herself. 'im the only student at this godforsaken school so i have to buy my own books! this is retarded!'. She turns to walk home but stops infront of the music store. she peers in the cool glass at the front, but then looks down at her books and sighs. slowly she walks back to the school..

Etsu sat in front of a classical piano, her fingers hovering a hair's width above the keys. She knew what to do, what keys to press, which fingers to use, but couldn't hear the music in her head. She found it rather odd how, after years of learning, she hadn't been able to play a single song on the piano since she left home. The white and black blurred into incomprehensible blots as she stared down at the ivory.
Blinking, the world came back into focus, and she jerked her hands away from the piano. Timidly, Etsu got up, pushed the bench back in its original position, and wandered off aimlessly to another corner of Melody.
She found herself in front of the guitars, admiring the wide variety, awed by the Strat's and the Ibanez and the Gib's. Soon, she had one in her hands, a sunburst acousitc, and her fingers were flying over the strings. This confused her as much as it gave her joy; she had only taken up the instrument after her brother, Farrel, had offered to teach her.
And she was horrible.
But now... But now, her fingers found all the right strings, all the right frets, and her thumb strummed the notes into a song she had never heard before.

Entering the mall, the one who would call themself as "Charlie", could not help but notice the variety of stores that it contained within. From food to books, to music, there were few stores that did not pique their interest in one way or another.
They made their way first to the bookstore. After having looked over the extensive works that were held within it, the being settled upon a book titled, "The Sandman: Endless Nights". Flipping through it from cover to cover, they could not help but be mystified by the artwork that it contained. Purchasing it, they then left the store to continue onward through the mall.
They came next to a music store. Twas not the average, as it sold not only cds, but also nearly any and ever instrument known to exist. Not bothering the girl that was in the store, they could not help but pick up the nearest violin. Holding tight upon it's neck, they held it close to their chin and with bow in hand, began playing the song "Mizerable". Even their voice carried the song as they sang the words that accompanied it.
"Kizukanai furi o shite Chisana madokara tku o mitsumeta Sora ni hirogaru tenshi no koe Kaze ni dakarete Hitomi ni utsuru zawameki wa nani mo kikoenakute Tadaima wa amai toki no itazurada to Sora ni tsubuyaita

It's "concert" now over, as the last word had passed their lips, the being could not help but smile. Placing the violin and bow back upon it's display, their fingers lingered upon the violin's neck. Slowly drawing away, they turned briefly to the woman who was still within the store. Reaching upward, it passed it's index finger against the top of it's nose till it reached the tip before passing it into the air, forming a peace sign amongst it and their middle finger. They smiled once more before leaving the building, and the mall along with it. Heading off into the streets.

(( ... NOOOOOO. NOOOOOOOOOO. I GO ONLINE AT THE WORST TIMES. ))
Etsu blinked at where the person had once been, staring at nothing. She had been stunned into silence by the sheer beauty of the song they had played. It was like something she had heard before but never quite recalled.
Gently setting down the guitar, she decided to follow them.

D flew to the enterance to the shopping complex and walked through the doors. The building was a fair size and stood out amongst the rest of the town. Inside, soft music was playing that sounded really close to 'The Girl From Ipanema'. Potted plants lined the center walkway and a few benches sat underneath them, as if to shield from the non-existant sun in the complex.
D walked in and went directly to Domen's Market to stock up for the bar. He went into the store to find that no one inhabited the cashier stand or anywhere in the store. The only thing was a small card stading on the counter saying 'Take what you need, but not more than that. More will appear, where the latter once sat.' Perplexed, D walked to the liqour isle and began to take bottles of the shelf, taking care to find only the best. He soon found out what the sign had ment. As soon as he removed a bottle, another took its place, it just appeared. Astonished, D decided to abide by the notecard and take only what was needed for a well stocked bar and left to head to the hospital to commandeer some blood packets.
