Hello newcomers and old members who need a refresher. This is my guild Beyond the Fog! First we have some basic rules to follow while you're in the guild. The following posts will explain things like subforums, creatures you can be, our moderator, and other such necessities.
Rules
Rule 1: You must type in a way we can understand. I don't really care if you put your actions in asterisks (*) or type it out as a story so long as we can
understand what you're saying. Spelling mistakes do happen so we don't mind
that to much, so long as it's not lyke or dis or putting numbers in the place of words or letters (ex: 2 for to or r3ally. The only time we allow that is(except for the numbers) if you're typing in speech. We all like different accents etc.
Rule 2: No Godmodding. I don't allow it, for moderators or for regular members. No one is invincible, however we do not allow killing either. The ONLY time a person is "killed" is when they're banned. Then we pronounce them dead.
Rule 3: Do not ignore people in the guild for things you don't like. If you have a problem come see me or another mod and we'll sort it out. I don't want people to be unable to post in their favorite guild thread because of a dispute. If ignoring is the ONLY way you can settle it then talk to one of us first.
Rule 4: You cannot copy any summon, character, or monster (as the case may be) from ANY anime, game, movie, or book. That doesn't mean, however, that you can't name your character or whatever after someone or something from a game, it just means you can't copy their past, race, or other qualities. AKA- I'm an elf named Link who has blonde hair and who has a sword and a whole bunch of other weapons, or I can summon a dragon named Bahaumat that uses megaflare. What we allow is I can summon a cute little dragon named Bahaumat that flicks it's wings to make a small tornado. Just no blatant copyright.
Rule 5: The golden rule that everyone should guess. Follow the Gaian ToS. It's so basic that I put it as the fifth rule because everyone should remember that. That means NO CYBERING and no spamming. Not even in the marketplace (see subforum post).
