I don't hate them! They're fun! All kinds of j-rockers come to anime cons!

Psh...I looooove anime conventions. Especially when you go into the dealers' area...there's a guy who sells yaoi doujinshi's every year, and you can always hear him scream "Get your red hot yaoi!!!" from the other side of the room. xd
As for musical performances, the last convention I went to didn't have one...they didn't show up...don't remember who it was though... xp

My two cents: I despise anime/manga.
Pertaining to the concerts in america issue: I'm sorry, but if I'm going to see a live I'm going to see it in an actual venue and not as some sort of offshoot of Anime/Manga fandom.... since, y'know, there are bands who do lives outside of the Convention circuit. Furthermore, the bands that they bring over tend to be ones that I have no intention of seeing live.
I have YET to see a band that would warrant me traveling around the country to see live at a convention. (You can't pull L'arc out and say they're awesome, because frankly I don't like their music. at. all.)

yeah, i understand that. but i havent gone all over the country or anything, i just went downtown for one and then to houston (only about 3 hours away from where i live). at Ushicon, they had Koda Kumi, who i didnt really care about. At Akon, there was Psycho le Cemu, Camino, Do As Infinity and Nami something or other.
So yeah. I doubt that post made any sense.

I don't know why anyone would hate anime cons for the concerts. The bands touring outside of cons (like Polysics) just flat out blow goats. gonk I don't know why anyone would waste their time listening to them.

See, I know that the majority of what will be brought to anime cons will be related to either Jpop or Visual Kei, and I'm not too keen on going to see those artists when I'd be surrounded by fangirls. I don't particularly like being surrounded by them. :shudder: Not to mention the anime/manga that would be all over the place, too. So going out of my way (since going all over the country was exaggeration in my previous post) to see something in an enviroment I couldn't care less about has zero appeal to me. It's just not my thing. at. all.

I don't know who the ******** Kaid en is, but that sampler seems crappy (minus world's end supernova and go back to china). Needs more awsum (read:zukan). I don't have the sampler, so I don't know EXACTLY what's on it.
