It was a sunny morning in the city of Rome. It was morning by now as Daken stepped out of the cab and walked towards a hotel that looked more like a mansion. A plane ride had brought him here to this extraordinary city. Even with Siege being over, Daken still had money to keep him supported for as long as he needed. The only thing he hoped was that the X-Men wouldn't follow him here. Daken was careful to cover their tracks so that no one would be able to follow them through himself. He had turned off his scent using his pheromones just in case his father decided to track them. It probably wasn't the best thing to do to bring someone like her with him, but after all he had been through a vacation was a must and a love was a must.
"You ever been here before?"

Hope opened her door and allowed her feet to step upon foreign ground. "Wow..." Her mouth dropped open slowly at the sight of their hotel. "This is amazing..." Then she realized he asked her a question. "No, I've never been here before. Or at least, not that I'm aware of. Cable took me through many different times, so I guess I coulda been here when it was in ruins..." Suddenly she realized she was rambling and quickly shut up. next thing she'd accidentally blurt out would be that she's still not used to sleeping in a bed! sweatdrop "It's absolutely beautiful here."

"Want to go to our room now? I got us a suite just for us." His suit case was held in his hand as he carried it up the stairs and into the lobby of the hotel. Walking to the front desk, Daken exchanged a few words with the man there before he was given two key cards to access there room. The deluxe suite was on the top level of the Hotel were there was a view of the city that only certain people were given. He wanted to give Hope the greatest experience in Rome since it was her first time.

"A suite? What's a 'suite'?" She followed him up the stairs like a baby duckling, a small luggage case in tow. As he casually walked through the lobby, she simply stared in awe at her surroundings. Everything was so shiny and peaceful. "It's so classy in here..." She mumbled with wide green eyes.

They soon arrived to their suite and Daken opened the door with the key card. The room looked very nice. Walking inside of it he looked closely at the room observing the furniture which seemed nice. The color scheme of the room made it feel as if it was a palace not a room in a hotel suite. His suit case feel to the floor, and he headed out to the balcony. The view was even better than expected. The Mass Cathedral could be seen in the distance as well as a number of other landmarks that made the city so great.
"How do you like it?"

Hope walked in the room and stood shyly off to the side. But slowly her bag slipped out of her hand and fell to the floor as she stood in awe of the sights before her. "Daken, this is...breath taking." Then she realized she actually had STOPPED breathing slightly. "Wow..." She stepped closer to him. "I've never seen anything like this. Everything is so...enchanting, so beautiful."

"This is just the view. Just wait until we get to look around tomorrow. Then you will really see the true wonders of Rome." Daken said to her with a smile and ended up giving her a kiss. "We should call it a night. It was a long flight. Aren't you tired?" He walked halfway to the bed room until he turned and faced Hope. "It's your call."

It was Hope's first plane ride and it completely tuckered her out. All the stress of not being in control of a situation for once was exhausting. "Actually, rest doesn't seem like that bad of an idea. I want to be 110% for everything tomorrow!" Hope smiled after his kiss and watched him walk away. It was too far from her. She felt like it was absolutely necessary to be closer to him. He was like a magnet and she was being pulled to him. It was an intense feeling, one she's only had for one other man in her life, except to not such an extent. heart sweatdrop

He looked back and gave her a wink hoping that she would come soon. A shower seemed best suited for him if he needed something to help relax him. His shower wasn't long, it was like any other shower. Daken dried off as he brushed his teeth and slipped into a nice black fluffy robe wearing a pair of boxers underneath. He headed towards their bed room and laid on the bed as he watched he sun set go down feeling quite calm.

His wink released an onslaught of butterflies in her stomach and she watched him head off to the shower. While he was in there, Hope opened up her suitcase on a chair and pulled out a pair of pajamas that she "borrowed" from Megan. Meg was gone to Alaska with Alex anyways. She'd never even notice they were gone... 4laugh
She slipped out of her traveling attire and pulled on the silky light purple shorts. Then she topped it off with a black thin strapped tank and let down her flowing red hair. She was remarkably tired after that trip.
Hope pulled out a brush from her bag and began to comb through her fiery locks. Turning at the sound of the door opening, she smiled as Daken emerged in his black robe. He looked so huggable. whee

Daken turned his head to Hope, as soon as he heard she was around. He wouldn't have said anything but he could smell something else. The scent of someone was nearby. "Are those your pajamas?" He said getting up looking around looking as to where the scent came from. The last thing he wanted to do was deal with someone by bashing their teeth in.

Hope paused and watched him sniff. She tugged the end of her tank top up to her nose and smelt it. It smelt snuggly fresh, just out of the dryer. "Errr...they're Pixie's. I don't really...have too much of a clothes collection yet." She did however intend to shop Cable blind when she returned home. This would be of course AFTER he killed her for leaving...but she knew she was safe with Daken. He seemed to have a lot of attributes that Wolverine did...since she found out he was his son after all. It didn't take a mind reader to know not to bring up THAT subject.
"Is there someone else in here?" Hope turned to her bag and pushed items around until out came a lovely little handgun. Sooner or later Domino would notice it was missing... Hope checked the magazine, saw it was full, popped in the clip and racked the slide to charge the firearm.

"I don't think so." Daken moved further out of the room and checked to see if someone was actually there but only hiding. After a few minutes pasted he was more than certain it was just the two of them. "All you all right Hope?" He said walking into the room with her again. "There is no one else here. It's safe."

Hope released a pent up sigh of relief when she realized that the coast was clear. She pressed the magazine release button and it popped out. After clearing the round from the chamber, she put the pieces all away in her suitcase. "I'm ok. I just-"
"Arhh-" Her words cut short and she grabbed her head, knees giving out under her. She slumped to the ground and stared up at Daken. "Something's going on at the mansion!"

"The mansion? What's going on?" Runs up closer to her and begins to examine her. She didn't look well at all. Whatever had happened at the X-Mansion most have been very bad seeing how she was getting a sudden seizure from it. "Hope talk to me. How do you know this?" He held her shoulders and sat down with her trying his best to keep her calm and relaxed. Seeing Hope stressed never made him happy. "Do....Do you need to go back?" The words flew out of his mouth not really thinking about what he had just said. If she needed to go back to the Mansion then he would definitely come with her and protect her if needed.
