In order to survive, Players need to make a pact, only those with a profile are allowed to form a pact. If you don't have one, you can't even beat noise without one because noise exist on two separate zones and can only be defeated if players beat them from two separate zones. Without forming a pact with another player, you can't even hurt Noise, just run from them. reapers also can create pacts, these will be needed and are valued in most cases. Having a pact increases the power of a Player so that they can fight the Noise, while such increases the life span, and power of a Reaper.
Players:
Neku Sakuraba and Shiki Misaki
Neku Sakuraba and Yoshiya Kiryu(Joshua)
Neku Sakuraba and Daisukenojo Bito(Beat)
Daisukenojo Bito(Beat) and Raimu Bito(Rhyme)
Reapers:
Rhythm(Jingu Omikami) (Can form a pact)
Kenshin Akamatsu (Can form a pact)

Oh, I know. if you want to be rogue you can join Wakizashi, Yakumi, Kenshin, and Rhythm or you can make a pact with Ichimaru maybe?

Genji Gincosu Linkmm Oh, I know. if you want to be rogue you can join Wakizashi, Yakumi, Kenshin, and Rhythm or you can make a pact with Ichimaru maybe? o -o they are bad right... and maybe i could join Ichi... Kenshin and most of the others are actually good but they seek to erase Joshua, and basically bring all the people who were killed during Shibuya's reaper game history back to life. This doesn't include the ones they erased who were against them, so say they won and Kenshin killed Joshua then became the composer, he would stay. I can't explain it all right now. >.>

I can't explain it all right now. >.> nope...i want ot be the pervet bad guy..i dont want to go back to being a regular person :c Their ideals are good, but their reasoning is poor, and so these reapers are cruel because they were treated poorly, but they don't have anything against some remaining in the UG if they want to, if Kenshin were to kill Joshua, then as Compposer he'd have to remain there.

One of Destiny exclaim Oh! Am I going to be required to make a pact with another Reaper? No. Just like in the game, there are no required pacts for Reapers.
