floor lamps for reading. There is also
an attached ladder for upper shelves.

Avery Maddison Cordaye After fixing up her dinner with Jensen, and having a small chat with the women, she promised that she would give her a personal tour after having a good night's rest. Jensen seemed like a decent women Avery so far really liked her, she gave her a gentle grin ."If you'll excuse me I should probably turn in, Goodnight."She said and gave the women a small hug.
Avery looked at her watch though time really did not apply here. She made her way to the library where she planned to say goodnight to Aaron, Once in the room she spotted him. Making her way over to him slowly, "Well Aaron, I just came to say goodnight."She said as she stood in front of the man looking down at him. "Thank you again for well, protecting me."She said gently. "I know it is foolish to fear every man, but I do, and I am sorry if I am taking you away from the other's I don't mean to.. I just I am not sure what I would do without."She said and bent down and planted her usual goodnight kiss to his cheek.

Avery Maddison Cordaye Avery stopped moving when he took her hand, She listened to him; He looked super nervous and than the words were out and she understood why he looked nervous. She felt her cheeks flush when he kissed her. Though she wanted to talk, she was suddenly at a lose for words. She turned and looked him dead in the eyes, trying to see if he was playing some cruel sick joke realizing he wasn't She took a deep breath. "Huh?"She said not meaning to say that but it was out before she could take it back. Avery was just honestly in utter shock.
She felt her hand tighten on his, holding him so he could not run away. "Wow.. I am not sure what to say."She whispered, her heart was pounding so hard in her chest. She stepped up on her tip toes and let her lips briefly touch his, "I love you to Aaron."She whispered in a very soft barely audioable voice. Her eyes flicked to his as she smiled, She could feel the baby move positions she grinned happily, The baby seemed to move more when Aaron was near.
That is when it dawned on her, she was going to be a mother and Aaron was a father. Being with him meant they would be an instant family... would she be able to handle that, would he be able to handle that. Avery chewed her lip nervously.

Even I never spied that the scenes were posed.

  After finishing put the books he had taken off the shelves in the library away. Aaron sat on the black leather couch daydreaming. Which struck him as odd considering he was supposedly already dreaming. He chose to ignore that fact. He felt very blissful at the moment. He had finally told Avery how he felt about her. To his joy she felt the same way about him. He leaned against the end of the couch using his hand to prop his chin, smiling at the small little fantasy he was having.
He opened a door of a house that he could not make out, maybe it was only a door. It had been a long day at the precinct and he wanted nothing more then to relax. A small excited voice cut the air as a little girl came running down the hall towards him. “Daddy!”She squeaked excitedly her little feet taking her fast as they could until she's grinning up at him. Aaron smiles at her and picks her up and kiss her cheek.“Hello, Emily.”She responded by giving him a messy kid like kiss on cheek, frowning slightly from the ticklishness of his stubble. It was wonderful to see her so full of health, and happy. Still carrying Emily he made his way out of hallway and towards the another room. He even though he did not recognize the house he still some how knew his way around. He opened a door to study, and then he saw her. Avery she was standing next a bookshelf pondering over a magazine. She looked beautiful and relaxed, she saw him and smiled. Then it dawned on him the house he was seeing was his and Avery's.
He walked over to her and kissed her gently. Emily made a face in his arms, Avery gave her a teasing smile before kissing her cheek. She looked back at Aaron with a look full of affection, he returned the look.“Hi, how was work?”“Long, I'm glad to be home, speaking of long it's passed someone's bedtime.”“Ahh dad...I'm a big girl.”Emily whined pulling a face. Aaron laughed lightly at her.“Well since you put that way, you can carry me to bed then.”She giggled and shook her head. “No way, you're too heavy.”Emily said goodnight to Avery, Aaron telling her that he would be back soon. A few minutes later he came back to find Avery sitting down on a lounge sofa. He took a seat right next her and kissed her again. He looked down at the magazine she was holding, it was a home improvement one. She was currently on a page for ideas for nurseries. They were scheduled for an ultrasound the next day, but Avery still wanted to have some ideas for what type of nursery the baby would have.
Aaron placed his arm around his fiancee. Back in Nod he smiled finding that he liked the sound of that.
Returning to the daydream, Avery had snuggled up to him her cheek resting on his shoulder. They talked about ideas for the nursery and she told him names both boy and girl ones she was thinking of using. He was brought out his thought by a knocking on the door. "Mr. Aaron? Are you in there?" He opened the door to find the two men from earlier. “Come on in, you didn't need to knock.”He said beckoning them to enter.“What can I do for you?”『Out Of the mind a Cop:Aww, he wants the same thing Avery wants.』

The younger man placed his hands on the door, his ear pressed against it as well attempting to hear anything ins--whoops!
The door opened and Kaname stumbled, pumping into the man's chest.
"Oh! Im sorry!" He laughed, bowing slightly and stepping past the man, "Good evening Mr. Aaron! I was hoping i could ask you some questions? About NOD?"
As he spoke, he'd taken Nicholas by the hand and lead him towards one of the red arm chairs. Sitting on the arm and patting the seat for Aaron to sit down. Another little thing, he didnt have to manuver his husband into the chair! How wonderful it was to be in NOD! His slender hands flipped his sketchbook open to an empty page and pulled a pen from behind his ear.
"I have been wanting to study NOD for quite some time Mr. Aaron. And Ive only been here a day...and my husband has been here for quite awhile but he doesnt quite have a hold on things like you seem do," He teased, poking Nicholas in the side, then continuing, "The Mara are creatures of nightmares right? But do they all resemble animals? Do some look like people? If so, do they speak our language and can they venture out of the shadows?" The excitable young man was bombarding him with questions, but he just couldnt help himself! This world was so interesting! And though he'd very soon venture out into the darkness on his own, it was probably good to know about the creatures who roam out there...

The courage to spread its wings?╚XXXXXXXXXX═XXXXXXXXXX╝Mauve listened inaudibly from the other side of the library, hiding seated behind one of the lofty wooden bookshelves. Well, not deliberately hiding. She had been there for hours, gleaning all the information on Nod and its inhabitants she could from the tomes. Several times she had been tempted to leave, but the sight of the sunlight gleaming through the curtains or the faint echo of stranger's voices down the hall would change her mind; She was still unsure how either variable would effect her. Crowds and Helios were difficult enough to deal with in back in her waking world.
Thus she remained in the library, completely alone with her contemplations until around eventide other individuals began entering the premises. Her disinclination towards undesired encounters spurred her into the corner where she blended in with the shadows, breathing shallowly and all the while praying that they would leave soon. Apparently none of the intruders had that intention.
She unconsciously overhead one of them mention the Mara. Quietly, she flipped a few pages back in the book she had been reading. She recalled the brief blurb on the nightmarish beings: "Mara are the creations of Lithia. They can can manipulate matter to reflect the darkest fears their chosen target possesses. They mainly reside in the shadow realm, but it is not uncommon for them to be seen beyond the borders of their native land. Unlike 'Queen' Lithia..." And it was there the text ended. Whatever remained had been deliberately scratched out with something like a bleeding ink pen. Her eyes slowly lifted from the page. "Evidently I'm not the only one who was left wondering." Mauve noted, peering through a minute gap in the books beside her head at the person who had just spoken, "I've checked through at least a quarter of this library and still haven't found that answer. There's plenty in here about the Nodians and their glorious history. But when it comes to this 'Queen Lithia' character and her Mara, everything's deliberately censored. Now why is that?"
She withdrew her gaze, leaned her head back against the wall, and sighed. "My 'condition' has restrained me; Unless any Mara or Nodian folk decide to pay this facility an unexpected visit, I believe my chances of making a breakthrough in my investigations are slim to none." Ah, when the mind was slave to the body! 【OOC :: Finally I've gotten the chance to post! Yay!】

═━┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈━═ Nicholas and Kaname had reached closed double door. His husband let go of his hand and knocked softly asking if the man they were looking for was in there. He heard a voice answer and the sound of a door opening. Kaname had been pressing his ear to door to see if he could hear anyone. Nicholas laughed lightly when he squeaked from bumping into dark haired man. Really it was like he was caught eavesdropping. Aaron showed them in and Kaname showed Nic to a chair he sat down and listened intently.
Aaron told them about is encounter with a Mara one that looked like a large dog of some sort. Not really a wolf or any other type of wild dog. It had been a few months after he arrived and had met Avery. He had saved her, when the thing went to jump on her. He had gently moved her out of the way causing the Mara to jump on him rather than her. It had vanished into thin air he had no idea why, but it left him four thin scars on his left arm. He also answered his husband's other questions the best he could. He was not sure if they looked like anything other than animals, or if they could speak. He wanted to explore more of the land, but he did not want to leave Avery by herself. They talked some more, Aaron apologized for not being much help. After telling that they could talk more in the morning he left to go to bed. Nicholas knew that he and Kaname would have to the same very soon. “Wait, I just thought of something...we are in a library right?”Nicholas said matter of factually getting up from the red chair and walking towards one of the shelves.“ This house gives you whatever you want or need, why don't we just look up the information we need?”Nicholas walked past several bookshelves coming near the end of the library. He turned right coming enter an aisle in it he saw a young that he had not met. Aaron had told them that there were others living in the house already. The place was huge, it was easy not to see anyone for days at a time. “Umm...hello.” He said softly trying not to startle her. She nearly jumped at the sound of the man's voice. The book she had balancing on her knees slipped from her fingers and fell a short distance to the floor with a muted thud. Her eyes traveled from the tips of his shoes to his face, where she quickly averted her gaze in embarrassment.
Her initial reaction was to shut down completely. But the part of her brain which comprehended social etiquette (though could not seem to practically apply it in most instances) notified her that no response was unbecoming. The only logical option Mauve had left was to address him.
Her right hand trembled as she reached down for the book, gently picking it up as she inhaled nervously. She blinked once, then allowed her gaze to meet the man's. His azure-green eyes and brow line seemed to form a stare that was as analytical as her own, minus the acute anxiety she was undergoing at the moment. "H-Hello, sir." Mauve mentally cringed at the sound of her voice. Not that it was a bad vibration; It echoed like the subdued sound of tiny wind chimes when a breeze would pass. She was just unused to hearing it outside of her own thoughts.

"Oh," Kaname chimed brightly before Nicholas had finished his statement. Why hadnt it hit him before! If there were any books in the world that described the Mara it would be one in NOD, right? He nodded happily, letting the taller man pass him up and begin skimming through the shelves.
The red head strayed a bit, wandering to the opposite side and walking slowly, his fingers gently brushing along each book as he passed. He wasnt used to Nicholas looking for anything on his own...let alone books. And a small warmth rose up in his cheeks.
'Mara...mara...mara...' he said quietly to himself, attempting to find any book cover that might jump out at him. Nothing just yet, but he did find quite a few other things. Including one that made his dark blue eyes sparkle in excitement.
"How to fly in NOD?" He exclaimed quietly, taking the book and turning to find his lover...though as he walked quickly from the aisle...a strange feeling came over him...
He paused, looking up and seeing a book peeking out a bit on a higher shelf. What...was that? And why...did it seem to beckon him so?
Glancing around, the young chemist found a latter and pushed it over to where the book was. Carefully taking it one step at a time he made his way up, only to find the book was just out of his reach.
"Ah," He groaned, "Of course." But with child-like enthusiasim, he couldnt give up. He reached again, this time higher on his toes...he'd never felt so small...even in Japan he was a bit taller than many, but here he was always just an inch to short--
The little thud in the distance made I'm jump, slightly losing his balance on the latter but quickly regaining it. A sigh of relief escaped him as he looked down. Where had the thud come from?
With Nicholas being blind, ever little thud made his heart race. Had Nic bumped into something? Or even fell? And though he knew here in NOD Nic could see, he still became so nervous.
Slidding down the latter (ignoring the steps entirely) kaname grabbed the flying book and made his way down the aisles.
"Nicholas? Are you alright? I heard a--oh," He said quietly, making it just in time to hear the girl's squeak of a response. His eyes grew a bit wider. Wow...how beautiful was this girl? Draped in white from head to toe, yet glowing so radiantly she was almost like...a ghost? No...ghosts werent something beauitful and timid like this girl was. She was much more a...white rose, or freshly fallen snow...a snow angel! An angel in general?
Even just thinking to himself he was totally scatter brained, "Hello," He sang, peeking his head from behind Nicholas then taking a few steps towards her, "Im sorry, did my husband scare you? He's a lot more tender than he looks."
Kaname was only poking fun, though Nicholas was very tall and rather broad shouldered, nobody really found him intimdating unless he was trying to be. Which wasnt often. He was such a kind soul.
His attention returned to the white lily and he swooned slightly. She was so pretty! And the slight pinkness that rose in her cheeks only made him blush as well. He could be such a girl sometimes. But this pretty young flower seemed easily startled, obviously having been a little more than shy in the realy world.
"Have you been here for long? Whats your name?" He asked gently, a warm smile on his pink lips. He didnt want to get over excited like he had with Avery and scare her off. But oh how he wanted to draw her! Touch her porclein cheeks with gentle fingers! It was a bit much to ask, and rather strange as well. But Kaname had always been a lover of art and beauty in all forms. The human female sort especially...

She diverged so much that she nearly missed the fact that the statement was a jest on the newcomer's part, a mere witticism uttered in an amicable manner to alleviate uneasiness. Indirectly, it worked. In thought she had been temporarily diverted from her fears. Though much of her social apprehension still remained, enough of its edge had been subdued to where her stream of consciousness functioned again without hinderance. She now recognized the voice of the fiery-haired stranger, identifying him to be the one who had posed the Mara inquiry earlier. He was so small and slim in comparison to his towering companion. His deep caramel-colored eyes conveyed a childish fervor for life. Everything about him left one with the impression they were gazing at a flame —not the treacherous kind such as a forest or house fire, but more like the glowing embers of a beckoning hearth. Subconsciously, this was comforting. It never ceased to amaze Mauve how certain presences could evoke specific reactions in one's psyche.
The husband's aura completed the other's. Tall and firm as an oak, with an earthy quality about him that matched the stolidness of stone. Honestly, there little about his persona that gave her any reason to be frightened (beside his sheer height and the fact he was another human being). Odd how when they had first entered the room she had wondered if they were the Nodians she had read about. Their conversation sufficiently proved otherwise. They were human, just like she was.
Two questions. How was she to respond? Obscurity would have been the more cunning and cautious approach, but for the moment a frank streak in her nature won out.
Slowly she pulled the compact book to her chest, "I... Well, my name is Mauve. Mauve Young. I don't know what you mean by 'long', but I was here in this library for some time before I heard voices of other people." She blinked and flicked her gaze back and forth between the two. "W-Would it be too forward of me to ask whom you are?" she said timidly.【OOC :: What a cute fetish! lol .】

From what little he could make out the title said The History Of Nod. Great she had a book that they were looking for. He was about to speak when Kaname showed up. "Nicholas? Are you alright? I heard a--oh," Kaname said eyes glowing from his appreciate of the woman's beautiful. Nic had to admit she was pretty. He asides for being a brilliant chemist he was a brilliant artist. He felt lucky for having such a talented man. He was lucky if he got through to and taught couple of students, he loved it though. He had the credentials to get any type of job in the field of biology, but teaching suited him. He knew eventually when they got back the university board would take that away.
Nicholas felt his husband grab the back of his shirt peer out behind him at the girl. Kaname greeted the girl in a sing song voice. Nicholas watched him take a few steps near her the girl was still guarded.Im sorry, did my husband scare you? He's a lot more tender than he looks." Kaname teased Nicholas smiled lightly. His love's tease was semi-true, there were people on upon meeting him were are intimidated by his size. He did not like to fight, but he could hold his own if need.
As a very unfortunate man that was taking out his homophobic fear on Kaname back when they started dating. After his husband and the pale woman introduced themselves Nicholas followed suit.“I'm sorry for startling you Miss Mauve, I'm Nicholas and this is my husband Kaname. Kaname clapped his hands together, smiling at the girl, "What a beautiful name Ms. Mauve!"
Her soft flower petal voice only added to her delicate nature, and made the red head even more estatic about meeting the girl. It was good to see so many different people were using his drug. He was at first very worried that Collidescope would mostly attract druggies and rebelious teens. But from the looks of it...other than himself and Nicholas...it appeared mostly attractive young women and rather mature men had found its powers interesting enough to engage in.
It didnt bother him, he supposed, but he wondered if there was an allure to the drug that only people like the current subjects were influneced by.
He smiled, bending down to her level to take her hand, "I've very nice to meet you Ms.Mauve. And Nic is right, i did mean how long have you been here in NOD? I just got here today!" He sang, pointing at himself, "Though Mr. Roth has been here for quite some time before me."
The slender young chemist winked at her, standing straight up and looking towards Nicholas, giving him a sweet little loving smile just because. He then followed his husband's gaze down to the girl's book. Oh! Well that probably was exactly what they needed.
"Oh! Ms. Mauve, would you mind sharing that information with us? What have you read so far?" As he spoke he walked to stand beside the girl, leaning against the book shelf as he smiled down at her. Long eyelashes flutter closed a short moment, then reopened to look towards Nic, whom still stood a few feet away.
"Ah, c'mere you," He giggled, taking his hand and pulling him to stand beside Mauve and himself. Stretched up to place a kiss on the man's jawline then ease back down and lean against the bookshelf once more, Kaname found himself looking down at the girl. A bit of giddiness filled him. Perhaps...she reminded him of someone? He just couldnt put his finger on it.
"Why are you back here reading anyway, Ms. waterlily? Why arent you enjoying the world of NOD?"
