About 1 year after the slaughter of the dragons in the
dragon realm. A man in a dark cloak began searching
for something in the realm. He knew that there was
wonderus power left in the bones of these great
creatures. But he was searching for the bones of the
elder dragon said to hold the spirt powers of the
slain dragons of the past. After the man searched for
half a year and found nothing he had almost given up
all hope of ever finding the power that layed there.
But just as he was about to leave the realm the ground
beneath his feet started to rumble and break sending
huge cracks across the vast wasteland. The man losing
his footing fell to the ground as it parted from the
rest trapping him in the center of what now looked
like a valley of great canyons. The man couldn't
believe his eyes he slowly got to his feet and looked
around. "What caused that to happen?.... and how am I
suppose to get across now?" he wondered looking here
and there. The man had started to walk to the edge of
one of the new cliffs to see if there was a safe way
out when the ground at his feet gave way. He was
falling, he tried in vain to grab on to rocks and
roots of dead trees to stop himself from falling to
the ground but was only able to slow himself. Reaching
the bottom with a thud he grabbed his left arm. "Damn
... I must have.... what the hel...."he mumbled
walking toward a strange tunnel. The tunnel had twin
dragonheads on either side of it. Slowly the man
walked toward the tunnel making sure he didn't fall
further into the ground. When he finial reached the
tunnel he slowly walked down the small opening looking
at the walls which seamed to be fallowing his every
movement. "This is a creepy place" he thought. After
walking what seamed like miles upon miles into the
tunnel it got warmer and warmer until it was almost
unbearable. He stopped dead in his tracks when he
finial realized that he had made it to the center of
the tunnel. He couldn't see much but for some strange
reason there was a weird flame looking lights coming
from the 4 top corners of the tunnel. Each set of
lights looked like giant eyes staring down at him.
"Where the h... this place is huge..." he said out
loud. And it was huge the room he had stumbled upon
was about 150' in height he thought and twice as
wide. "Could this be the place I was looking for?
Could this be the Elder dragon's layer?" he said his
heart beating rapidly. Just as the word escaped his
lips blue flame eyes opened wide looking straight at
him. The Eyes alone where the size of the man. "Who
are you?" could be heard echoing around the tunnel.
The mans heart stopped as he shuddered an answer. "I
am... Gimly The blessed." he responded. "I sense fear
in you Do you fear me?" the voice echoed again. "Well
I don't fear you. I'm.... I'm ...." he began. "Your
what?!?" Said the voice with such force behind it that
the ground at the man's feet. "I'm not trying to
disrespect you. Or undermine your power. But one can't
fear those they can't see. Yes I am a bit startled by
all of this but I'm not afraid." the man finished.
"You are here for power...I brought you here to me to
give you the power to avenge the fallen dragons of
this realm." Said the voice. "So you.. You are the
elder dragon?" said Gimly. "I was the Elder dragon.
Now I am the spirt of all the slain dragons. Its time
for you to work for me. You came here expecting power
and power you will have once you kill the one who kill
all of my clan." said the voice. As soon as he had
stop speaking his spirt leaped into Gimly. At first
gimly fell to the ground because of the forcefulness
of the spirt then he was lifted high into the air with
what seamed to be the wind from millions of dragons
wings flapping at once. His eyes changed from brown to
a blue flame. He had wings of a dragon attached to his
shoulders. Though they weren't normal wings they were
made of pure energy. He slowly landed to the ground.
"It is time.. To finish what was started over a year
ago.. All those who get in my way will die. I will not
rest until the one whose time has come dies a most
painful death." he said as he shot up and out of the
tunnel surpassing GLS by 2.
