It's not that they're bad.
They're great. Lovely. Perfect.... better than most of my non-yaoi, non-smutty, work.
And I can't scan them! *sob* I don't have a scanner at home and there is a library but scanning yaoi in a library is just too... well, embarrassing! Not that I'm ever ashamed of my yaoi, but it's sort of like... nice librarian? mansmut? no?
So yeah.
I feel awful looking at m beautiful pics and wondering how to get them scanned. Probably I'll end up going to Staples and scanning like thirty things I need not at all just to camouflage my two pics. manwhore and mancake. *Cake=sex.
thoughts? Am I a bad fan for being embarrassed? Am I a bad artist for somehow making yaoi pics that are better than anything else I've ever drawn on my first few tries drawing such things?

Well, if you have a picture phone then you can take a picture of it and upload it on myspace. And if you have internet on it then you can send it to your e-mail. That's how I get my pics up. ((Do you have a dA? I wanna see it! Hurs mine if you wanna look. XxDeathByAngelxX's dA. I just started, so I don't have a lot of pics up yet. ))

I think that being embarrassed is just human, with nothing bad about it - I mean, if I was reading Hetero manga - OR novels - that had sex in them then I'd be embarrassed to be reading them if I felt people were watching.
Similarly, if I had to scan images of sex - drawn by myself or otherwise - of course I'd be embarrassed.
I can't draw but surely it can't be bad to discover whatever talent you naturally have? It just means you have a passion/love for yaoi, which probably makes it easier to draw it?

Ah, I know what you mean on all counts! My yaoi is not great, but it is noticeably better than my G and PG stuff. You know, if you disregard the awkwardly disproportionate limbs. I haven't uploaded much on my dA, but I do draw alot of pervy stuff. I guess I don't upload much, kuz it's embarrassing. Mostly because I don't have a scanner-printer of my own anymore.
I used to print alot of RPS of Tim Burton and Danny Elfman (I know, I'm weird, but they used to be flippin' HOT!), but really small so nobody would see. Also, I'm cheap and didn't want to spend more than a few dollars on my like-fifty or so pictures. At the library. And when I had to resize them, it would usually be the R or NC-17/X stuff. One big 4.5"x4.5" drawing of half-naked humping. Can't shrink that quickly enough! cat_redface
