I use to like in season one with Monkey D. Luffy but it became so forced and convoluted. It was crammed full of stuff it seem impossible they could even keep a story going or add to it. So I stopped watching. If I ever start again, I might watch it subtitled. American anime dubbers butcher everything, I usually feel sorry for the voice actors.

ive only read up to volume 4 in the mangas.. but my friend dragon is at like 19 and she says its pretty good

One piece is irritating that they never have anyone die, even the enemies, but Luffy's laughter is addicting. I like One Piece for comedy reasons.

lol i love the whole sub titled tho if your curious to how bad amercas jumped around go to wikipedia and search (list of one piece episodes) they butchered it so bad here i got no repect for most translated animes sadly i would suggest if you liked season 1 of one piece which wasnt butchered then try the subbed but good luck catching up we are watching episode 470 releasing the 10 th and america stopped at lik 110 and 470 is at the half way point of the grand line its gotten so awesome

I only have read the manga, i think its good but i want to know more about the devil fruits, you dont get to know much about them. smile

Its alright if you read the manga, but stay far away from the show as they said it was butchered...and in my opinion garbage...but like I said reading the manga of it is faaaaar better. And I am at....hmmm Luffy just knocked out the kraken on the way to fishman island. And i can't believe I am the only one who liked sanji....You mean to tell me none of you guys get nosebleeds from time to time looking at gorgeous women.

I don't really hate One Piece...I just need to get back into it, but there are so many chapters x.x! As much as I like it, I can't find a reason to get back into it.

It was the art style I never much liked Yeah, the art style is not my favorite either. I guess as much as I like pirates, One Piece is not my type of manga to read.

This anime is very good. There is more to it than what is just on the surface. Best to watch with subtitles.
