Insane gets the first post.

Accept or Decline?

Typical starting posts involve making an appearance. But you can start off any way you like.

In the distance a figure is descending from the sky, his identity hid as he appeared as a shadow emerging in front of the the reddish sun which was still rising from the horizon. As he came to a landing, a large amount of dust flew up in front of him, continuing to hide his face. Slowly he began spinning, and then it became more rapid. His spinning made a large howling noise, as a strong wind began to gust outward with the figure as the center point. The howling wind and the rapid spinning cleared the dust, and the figure began to slow his spinning down. As he began to come to a halt, his forehead protector glimmered in the seeping light of the rising sun as well as the blades of the two swords on his back that were held on by a belt that was strapped over his chest. The remains of the dust moved outward slowly in the direction of the wind that had blown previously.

"You ready?"

Jatai said, tilting his head a little and slowly crossing his arms, as he looked towards his opponent, Insane.

Jatai bent his left knee and straightened his right out. He then pushed off his left knee swiftly moving out of the way, leaving an afterimage behind as he moved at an awing speed. He then came to a halt, not far from Insane. Jatai then moved his left hand over to his right elbow, and held his right index finger up to his top lip.

"Insane, tell me what you think-"

Jatai tilted his head a little, moving some his hair out of the way of his, revealing his right eye as he spoke.

"-what the most important cells of a living being are. You know bone cells, blood cells, muscle cells, etcetera. I want your honest opinion. Of course, there is a RIGHT answer to this question, so don't think that just because your giving your opinion, it doesn't make it wrong."

Jatai grinned in satisfaction, he was utterly expecting such an answer.

"That answer..."

Jatai tilted his head towards Insane.

"...is incorrect, sorry. No matter who you are, no matter what part of your body is stronger, the most important part is still the same. That would be...blood cells."

Jatai turned a little, so he was facing directly towards Insane.

"Though you may have techniques that allow you to manipulate your bone structure, that ability comes from your blood, because it's a kekkei genkei. Blood determines your clan, your traits, it is what keeps you alive. One can live with bones broken, even some bones gone, however, loss of too much blood can kill you, if certain arteries or veins are torn, you die. Blood determines much of who we are, but bones are the same for almost everyone. Heh."

Jatai almost found himself laughing as he gave his answer, but refrained from doing so. He bent his knees in preparation for the next set of moves.

While Jatai saw Insane prepare his next move, his attempts to keep from laughing ceased as well as the laughter itself.

"Trust me, this lesson will come to be helpful in the future of our little duel here."

Jatai quickly jumped back and shifted through a few hand signs.

"Meiton Release: Sumikami."

From around different points around Jatai, formed four odd beings. These were called "Sumikami." They were translucent beings, each with an invisible barrier around it, as well as one more invisible barrier that extends to each other. Therefore, there were really five barriers: one for each of the four Sumikami, and one last larger barrier that extended between them. The barriers were special, they didn't necessarily block out attacks, but upon the slightest contact with the barrier, an outsider with a different chakra signal would get a painful injection of meiton chakra that makes its way along the nervous system and up to the brain. At that point, the jutsu's wielder is able to read the target's mind as well as speak to the target through the mind. Therefore, it wouldn't be best to attack the Sumikami with a straight up attack. Three Sumikami stood around Jatai, allowing the barrier between them to surround Jatai, while one quickly rushed towards Insane, trying to get him in range of its barrier.

Jatai grinned as Insane attacked the first Sumikami.

"A success..."

Each Sumikami being, as stated, had an invisible barrier around it, thus making close combat practically impossible against them. In this case, though that first Sumikami was destroyed, meiton chakra from its barrier was violently forced into Insane's body and thus allowed Jatai access to his mind.

"Hello Insane..hmhmm"

Jatai was now speaking to Insane, through his mind, like a telepath. Upon the successful technique, Jatai released the rest of the Sumikami, seeing as how they would be of no more use. Jatai then pulled out a kunai from underneath his cloak. He held it up, and it glimmered in the light of the morning sun for a moment. Then, Jatai pierced the kunai into his palm allowing the blood to drip down.

"Meiton Release: Chishio"

The small blood pool on the ground began to spark a little. Jatai had allowed meiton chakra to flow into the blood as well as keep the elecrokinesis effect in the blood cells that dripped from his hand. The elecrokinesis stimulated the blood cells causing them to multiply at alarming rates. The meiton chakra allowed Jatai to control the blood so he could harden and shape the pool of excess cells in any way he wished. But the meiton also had another function. It worked as a poison that flow into the bodies of anyone who touched the blood. As the blood cells multiplied on the ground into a larger pool, large droplets of Jatai's blood began to rise outside the blood pool and into the air.

"Smite him"

One of droplets of blood in the air grew to a bigger size. The excess blood cells then began to flow and shape into an enormous needle that surged towards Insane.

Jatai peered back towards Insane, after he avoided the first part of his Chishio.

"I could already tell what you thought of my technique, there isn't anything you can hide anymore...heheh."

Jatai could still speak to Insane through his mind, thanks to the Sumikami technique he had used earlier. Jatai then held up his hands and made the hand seals for dog and boar.

"Raiton Release: Inazuma."

A sparking aura began to shroud Jatai as Insane approached. In that very instant, Jatai surged forward like a blue bolt. In an instant, like the sudden stop in a flash of lightning, Jatai's momentum stopped carrying him forward and he came to a sudden halt, again facing Insane.

"You and I must have a different perception of weak and strong, Insane. Remember what I mentioned about blood to begin with. It's the body's most important fluid, it's its most essential part. The meiton poison functions in a way that causes it to halt the blood flow, in other words - instant unconsciousness. Though, I don't think that 'appeared' weak either. Had that attack just hit you now, you would have been completely impaled before the poison could have worked. In other words, you would've suffered from ballistic trauma before you would suffer from the poison. But if you insist that this technique looks weak, then let me show what else this blood can do."

Jatai closed his eyes for a moment, the blood quickly condensed into large floating droplets in the air again. As Jatai opened his eyes, revealing his first stage wujigan, the blood changed shape into Blood Clones of Jatai, 4 of them.

"Meiton Release: Dokigami..."

The Blood Clones were most condensed in a single point, short of center. Therefore, each one had an artificial heart composed of just condensed blood.

"Since I already have the advantage of having insight to your mind, I might as well give you a little hint. Each clone has one spot where the blood is most packed. The only way to kill them is to hit that spot, their 'heart.' But there is more, each one still holds the meiton chakra that acts as a poison, and they can change their shape freely. What's more, if you fail to strike their 'heart' they will be completely unharmed as their are just packed liquids."
