Although this has nothing to do with horrorizing something, I thought it important enough to stick it in the main forum.
Welcome to The Hello Thread. (Now do you get why I named it as such? Suiting, no?)
And with that I say...Hello! mrgreen
Basically, this is the thread to introduce and tell us a little about yourself.
So, without further ado, I shall begin it.
~
Hello again. I am Chase Me To The End, and my real name is Chase, so please call me as such to simplify things. I am vice captain and co-founder of this fine establishment, so please, OBEY me! Lol, jk...But not really. mad I love everything horror. My favorite movie is The Evil Dead, and to bad mouth it will earn you instant bannation. Lol, jk again...But not really...again. mad The Evil Dead inspired me to pursue a career in film, so, wish me luck on that...I SAID WISH ME LUCK! I love The Legend of Zelda franchise of games, and I'm really tall. Umm...I also love cheese...Umm...Bah, I was never good at introductions...I guess that's all for now. xp
Now, your turn...I SAID YOUR TURN!

Hello, I am ShinjroAragaki. Please call me Never though... and I won't explain why... too long of a story. I am a friend of Chase who was asked (Like the rest of our guild) to join this fine guild. I like horror, and I don't really have a favorite horror movie at the moment. I am a rabid Persona fan and like Chase I am really, really tall XD And I think thats it... Oh god I suck at these things XP

Welcome, Never. That sounds weird. Anyway, being a fan of Persona, you earn some immediate points in my book.

Well, my real name is Bryan. So, you can call me that or Elliot. Whichever you damn well please. I like horror. More of an action man though. Hey, I have enough guns in my house to start a small uprising in a small place. Anyway, game wise, I love the Tom Clancy franchise of games, and books. By the way, I'm pushing about 6'4 or 6'5.

Yo. You can call me Uriel.
I have a slight obsession with J-Horror movies, both the English and Japanese versions. I've seen the Ring movies, the Grudge movies, Retribution, One Missed Call and Dark Water.... that's all I can think of but I know the list is longer.
American movies are fun too from what I've seen.... well for a laugh anyway.
My favorite comedy is Drag Me to Hell. Favorite video game is Tales of Symphonia and I look forward to getting Arc Rise Fantasia, Tales of the Abyss, Tales of Legendia, and Tales of Vesperia soon. So yeah I'm a JRPG nerd.
Japanese movies, Japanese music, JRPGs, and manga/anime - clearly I have a pattern here.

@Never: How tall are you?
@Uriel: Being the big Sam Raimi fan that I am, I absolutely love Drag Me to Hell as well, so you're in good company. =D

It's hysterical! 15-minute epic b***h fight in a car between a young blond b***h and a zombie old lady, where the only weapons are drool, a loaded stapler, and a razor sharp ruler. That's just full of win. Also, I assume if you're as interested in the movie as you claim to be, you've noticed Michael Jackson in the background towards the end?

That fight scene, as well as the entire movie, was campy as hell. God I love camp. You assumed wrong. I did not notice any Michael Jackson in the movie (I'm not a dissective type of viewer, no matter how interested in a movie I am). So now I am curious. Please, do share. biggrin

In the background towards the end, just before the railroad scene at the very end (I think she was walking down some stairs?) you can clearly see in the background a man who looks suspiciously like Michael Jackson, with two body guards, one on either side of him.

And I just watched Drag Me to Hell again this past tuesday...Guess I'm going to have to watch it againish (I'll just skip to the end haha). ~ Quick q: Do you agree with the following statement? Ringu < The Ring Ju-On: The Grudge > The Grudge

Ringu < The Ring Ju-On: The Grudge > The Grudge Uhm... possibly sweatdrop Honestly I like them so much I couldn't compare. I couldn't tell you which is better. Also, some people are more patient. A lot of people won't watch J-Horrors because it takes too long to get to the action and when it does, it's short. J-Horrors are about drawing fear from the little details. The majority of American audiences just wanna see someone cut up real quick. So they would just overlook, say, a fly come out of a dripping faucet... Just got to the ending of The Sixth Sense! WOAH! Did NOT see that coming!!!!

You and everyone else in 1999 haha.
