Raisin's great escape

Just another normal, boring, and unpleasantly hot summer day, as i sit listlessly on my comfy yellow sofa with the company of my brother. TV seemed to be the only way to get through the humid, sticky days of June. As my mind slowly dissolved into a mushy, pudding-like mass of gray jelly, my rabbit was having an adventure of her own. For some unknown reason, my brother's mind diverted its attention from re-runs and commercials to the large windows of my living room. "Uh, Keiko-dot-Moon, a black rabbit is in the yard." I turned and looked. "It's pretty out," I thought, "song birds, green grass...oh! The bunny! it kinda looks like mine, but i know she's safely locked in her rabbit habitat i made her." I looked blankly back to the TV. "Oh-my-cow! My rabbit is loose!" With a burst of sudden energy I sprinted outside faster than an Olympic gold medalist rounding the last stretch of the 100 meter dash. "Raisin!! Raisin baby!! Don't move!!" Arms flailing, and legs flying, I watched as my rabbit happily hopped away from me and into the bushes, like nothing was wrong, or even glancing at her mommy freaking out behind her. I knew if she bolted or got scared, there would be no catching her. "RAISIN!! DON"T RUN!!" (Sure, looking back at the situation now, running and screaming wasn't the best idea, but i panicked!) Diving headfirst into brush, Raisin sat comfortably in pine-straw and dead leaves. Of coarse she ran when my face came barreling through the shrub next to her. "No! don't move!!!" Like a Navy Seal, I made my way "commando-style" out of the shrub. This bush was branchy and quite painful unfortunately, snagging my hair and shirt. After a game of tug-of-war with the aggressive evergreen (I lost), I ran after my evasive rabbit, finding her napping in the safety of her rabbit yard blissfully. I scratched my head. Like a genius-mastermind, she pulled out the pegs holding the fence down and lifted it up, hooking it to her tall cage. She made a little door for herself. I looked at the pegs. Even i found them difficult to pull out of the ground (I needed a hammer to even get them in), but she did it without even digging them up! At the moment, about fifteen more pegs hold the enclosure down, along with a few bricks around the edges. Lets see her get out of that.

Raisin:

Whatever drove my rabbit to try and escape is beyond me. She is the laziest animal I have with no drive or energy to spur her on. Her favorite activities include: sleeping, dozing, eating, napping, and sleeping. Quite an active lifestyle. I must admit that she is the smartest animal i own. She knows her name, comes when she is called (with exception of her previous adventure), fears no animal alive, sorta learned tricks until I got bored, and structured an escape plan from her luxurious bunny yard (specially made with love). What a special rabbit.
