Basic Statistics

Real Name: Crazy Cat (Wisel)
Alias: C.C.
Gender: Male
Race/Species: Cat; magic based; experiment born.
Occupation: Plot Device.
Hobbies/Pastimes: Messing around with people when he gets bored, being the plot device which turns a particular story completely around.
Talents/Skills/Powers: “Flatland” Syndrome: This is the one ability that classifies someone of C.C.‘s planet as an Omnic. Basically, it’s the ability to see past the Fourth Wall. He instead calls it the “Flatland Syndrome”, after the book “Flatland”…which is about a two dimensional shape from a two dimensional world that comes into contact with a three dimensional object. The Three dimensional object can observe the two dimensional world and not be detected or known of at all.
Copy Cat: This is a very rarely used power. He has the ability to duplicate another’s powers and abilities after coaxing the other being into using them.
Cat O’Nine Tails: Another rarely used power. C.C. can grow a total nine tails, each possessing a different power. Fire, Wind, Water, Earth, Steel, Gravity, Time, Electricity, and Darkness. A draw back is; the more he duplicates, the less each duplicate is able to use a tail. For example, if he has eight of himself out and about, each duplicate will only have one tail with one different ability. The original C.C. will be able to use two tails with whatever abilities are left.
Cat’s Outta the Bag: C.C. pulls a large gray sack out of his fur. This bag is filled with everything and anything.
Crazy Eights: As the saying goes, the cat has nine lives. When he reaches his eighth life, his nine lives will automatically circle back to his first life, giving him nine lives once again. This is a small bit of insurance that everyone’s favorite plot device won’t be killed off so easily. He’s not killed very often, so the ability is rarely put into effect.
Duplication: C.C. can duplicate himself nine times, allowing him to be in nine different places at once. His tail abilities are divided with each duplicate. Duplicates only have one life, while the original has nine.
Transformation: Those who have been around to see when the cat first came into this RP should know that C.C.’s long and skinny black form isn’t his original form. C.C. can transform back and forth with outside assistance. If anyone re-locks the straight jacket C.C. wears when in a particular mood, he will revert back to his harmless original form. If anyone undoes the straightjacket, then he will revert back into his mischievous black cat form.
Teleportation: C.C. most often teleports to different locations with his nearly signature burst of black smoke and audible “pop” or “poof” sound

Physical Characteristics

Hair: Black
Eyes: Amber
Distinguishing features: Large, mischievous, and sometimes malicious Cheshire smile.
How does s/he dress or what do they typically wear? In his original form, C.C. is a fat calico laced up in a straight-jacket. When in his “good” form, he is just a black cat. If put into a certain mood, his fur will change colors, and the straight jacket will gradually remanifest itself.
Other accessories: He can pull a large gray sack out of his fur that is filled with a random assortment of items.
Weapons: Whatever he pulls out of his bag.
Health: Good. He does not like to get sick.
Physical Flaws: He’s a cat, so there are a lot of physical disadvantages that he has compared to that of a human.
Physical Qualities: He’s a cat…so pretty much the same thing. Certain physical advantages he has compared to a human.

Other Characteristics

Are they generally balanced or clumsy? Balanced.
Mannerisms/Poses/Movement: At times, he can seem like a lazy cat. But most often his attitude and almost everything about him will seem mischievous.
Habits/OCDs/Obsessions: He loves a good, juicy plot, and will usually do what it takes to make such a plot happen. He is also prone to messing with people when he gets bored.

Psychological/Personality Attributes and Attitudes

Intelligence Level: Average…but he possesses outside knowledge that most characters around him don’t have. He can break the fourth wall, so he knows, and can find things out easily. When he rambles about his outside knowledge, or “at” his audience, he usually comes off as crazy to other characters.
Character's long-term goals/desires in life: None. He’s more of a ‘living in the moment’ kind of guy.
Character's short-term goals/desires in life: To make a good plot happen, entertain himself, “milk”, and to exercise his primal needs.
How do they see him/herself? He’s a plot device, and he’s happy to be one given everything he’s able to do and how interesting certain plots become because of his “help”.
What is the character most proud of? When he causes a drastic change in a certain story line. So far…he’s pretty proud of what he made happen to Joker and Gossamer’s relationship.
What does the character like least about themselves? He’s a cat…he has less ability and availability to “score” like humans can. ….or to have any kind of a meaningful relationship.
Patience level: Average. If a plot is going to unfold, he’ll wait patiently for it. If it takes too long…or things get quiet…he’ll get bored rather quickly.
Most at ease when: He’s watching his work, or….curled up on a nice warm lap while he’s getting his head pet and has a toy filled with catnip tucked in his paws.
Ill at ease when: Water. And Dogs. All that needs to be said.
Character/Personality/Mental/Social Strengths: He has outside knowledge / can break the fourth wall. He has immense abilities when needed, and is able to help change the entire course of a plot with usually one move. Because of his abilities and knowledge, he’s usually very carefree, outgoing, mischievous, neutral, and interacts with writers and audiences.
Character/Personality/Mental/Social Flaws: For the same reasons as above, he is mischievous, fickle about who’s “side” he’s on, can give away huge secrets on a whim, and can change the course of someone’s life or a plot with a single action. If it will keep him entertained, or prove to have dramatic results along the road, he’ll do it. And when he begins talking to “himself” (usually his writer or the audience), he’s usually seen by the other characters as crazy.
If they could be described with one of the seven virtues, which would it be? Virtues don’t really apply to him. He’s…very helpful when he wants to be. So…Charity? Maybe Honesty? He can be too honest when he wants to be.
If they could be described with one of the seven sins, which would it be? Again, doesn’t really apply to C.C. He’s very manipulative and cunning. Maybe Greed? Sloth…he’ll only act when he’s bored or he thinks it would make a good plot.
Biggest Vulnerability (non physical): Non physical…it would probably just be his instinctive phobias. Water…dogs…anything a cat would be terrified of. Most times he’ll be so scared he’ll forget that he even has powers to help himself.
Optimist or Pessimist: Optimist
Introvert or extrovert: Extrovert
Greatest Fear: Drowning or being eaten by dogs.
Other Fears/Insecurities/Phobias: Anyone putting him back into his “original” form.
Biggest accomplishment: Creating or altering a plot into something bigger or more interesting.
Minor accomplishments: Annoying other characters or getting some kind of interesting reaction from them.
Character's darkest/deepest secret: Water, dogs, and a well snapped rolled up news paper scare the daylights out of him. Enough that he’ll completely forget about his powers and just instinctively run from the problem. Also, getting him into a state of bliss allows for his straightjacket to reappear. This will allow someone to change him back into his power-less and mentally challenged calico form.
Minor Secrets: If you ask him for help, or an object that he can pull out of his bag, he will usually oblige. IF the result will prove to have an interesting plot.

Likes/Dislikes

Likes: A good and entertaining plot, messing with people, fish, mice, catnip, milk, a good scratch behind the ears, and females.
Dislikes: Dogs, water, bad characters, being bored, boring plot.
Simple Pleasures: Watching a good story progress, messing with other characters.
Greater Pleasures: Having a hand in creating a drastic change in a plot.
Where does this character like to hang out? On any kind of ledge, high places, something soft and fluffy, and anywhere there is something interesting happening.
Mode of transportation: Teleporting by bursting into a cloud of black smoke, accompanied by a loud “Poof” or “Pop”.
Most prized possession: A few small souvenirs and memoriams that he keeps in his gray sack from previous events that he played a big part in.

Emotional Characteristics

Describe character's sense of morals: Fickle. He is mischievous and will mess with others just for fun. But every now and then he does have a conscience and will do good things for others.
What do they consider taboo (something they personally would never do): Something to destroy an already good plot, or a possible one.
Spontaneous or structured? Spontaneous. He‘ll do things on a whim or for the sake of a plot..
Instinctual or logical? Both…more instinctual though.
How does this character act in public? Mischievous, playful, arrogant, outgoing.
How does this character act in privacy? The same, but he becomes a little more cunning and talks to the audience or writers.
Has this character dealt with the loss of someone they knew? Yes, but because he’s aware that everything’s just a story and not real, he’s not effected very much.
How does this character deal with or react to:
Conflict/Danger:
Fear: Being a cat, he wears his emotions on his sleeve, so to speak. If something he’s afraid of becomes present, he will become extremely defensive. He will run if he thinks that the threat will still come after him.
Change: As long as it proves for an interesting plot, he’s all for it.
Loss: It doesn’t happen very much for him. If someone dies that he really liked, he’ll demand that they be “brought back.”
Pain: Should something happen where he actually does get hurt…he has a low threshold for pain.
Stress: He can’t handle being pressured very well. He’ll usually give into something quickly to avoid stressful situations.
Peer pressure: He can easily be swayed into doing something, given the right reward or possible outcomes.
Guilt: It doesn’t happen very often, but if he does feel guilty, he’ll try to make it up to the other person until all is well.
Being wrong: He doesn’t really like it, but he’ll play it off as an “oops, my bad” kind of thing.
Being criticized: He gets annoyed. If he is serious about something and he’s criticized for it, he’ll get angry at the other person.
Being insulted (superficially: name calling, etc): If he doesn’t ignore it, he’ll get the person back in the very near future some way.
Being loved: He enjoys being pet, loved on, and adored very much. If someone shows him attention and affection, he’ll give it right back and probably be their friend for life.
Being hated: He doesn’t really care. He tends to tick people off just for the entertainment.
How does this character express:
Dislike (of a person, thing, or idea): Tail down, ears laid back, smile gone, eyes slits.
Approval (of a person, thing, or idea): A low but loud purr, gentle wag of the tail, and a bright smile. If it’s a plot oriented thing, his expression will be mischievous, and he’ll be wearing his pearly Cheshire smile.
Drugs and alcohol: Believe it or not, he does drink. If he doesn’t get himself drunk off of milk or catnip, he enjoys a good mud slide.
Killing/Murder: As long as it’s interesting, he loves a good show.
Education: To the extent of his writers, or what his writers allow him to know.
How does the character view life? He is aware that his world is all made up, that he’s simply a character, and he enjoys it.
How does the character view death? Same as his view of life. They’re not really alive, so death isn’t that big a deal. As long as it’s not him…he will nag until he is “brought back.”
How does the character view society? It can either be entertaining…or boring.
How does the character imagine his/her own death? He’s never thought of his own death before…but if he ever was killed off, he would want to go out with a bang. Something impressive and memorable.
What does the character want out of life? Just to have a good time, watch a good story unfold, and have a hand in some major story arch and plots.
What does this character consider "success" to be? With one little action, he turns a plot completely upside down, or takes something stale and makes it interesting. For example, by simply removing Gossamer from Lex Corp during a battle, he practically ended the little couple she and Joker made on the spot. Now Gossamer is stressed out and Joker is out for revenge. Loving Couple < CONFLICT
What would the character like to change in his/her life? Though being a talking black cat with vast powers when willed is semi unique and interesting…he would much rather have his “original body.” There are some things that you just canNOT do as a cat that you can as a fully formed male.
What motivates this character? A possible plot. If an area or characters become stale, and he has a chance to change that and create something interesting, he will do whatever he can to make it happen. If anyone presents him with an opportunity to help make a plot interesting, he will gladly offer his hand or even “switch sides.”
What discourages this character? Writers block…writers being absent…a story / plot dying or hitting a lengthy road block.
What makes this character happy? Catnip, Fish, Mice, a good pet, snuggles by girls, and a juicy plot.
What makes this character sad? If a plot or action backfires, a character he likes falls under misfortune, he actually feels guilty about something he did.
What makes this character angry? Someone criticizing him, badmouthing him, the writer doesn’t do what he wants, a plot becomes stale, he gets picked on, he has to revert back to his “other self”.
What humiliates this character? When someone discovers one of his weaknesses and completely exploits it.
What most describes this character's personality? Mischivious. He will mess with people when he gets bored, and he loves a good plot no matter who it effects. He’s not entirely good, or bad. He’s just….chaotic neutral.

Relationships with others (non-married)

Relationship Skills: He’s a cat…so…yeah. He can be suave and charming…but his parts really don’t match up with those he’d like to. So he doesn’t really need relationship skills.
Marital status: Single.
Describe their sense of trust: He usually doesn’t have a problem with trust. He has outside knowledge of characters and such, so he usually knows ahead of time just how much a character can be trusted.
What type of individuals does s/he like or associate with? Anyone that would be “entertaining” for him, anyone fun, and anyone that would treat him well.
Do they know anyone who's died, and if so who and how were they affected? He’s usually not very effected by it. He doesn’t get so attached to anyone that it would make him sad if they died. And since he knows nothing in his world is “real”, it doesn’t matter to him. Unless of course…the death would cut future plots or make things less interesting. Then he would demand they “be brought back”.

Background Story:

Crazy Cat, or C.C. as he likes being called, is a being from the third universe. He is a magic-enabled talking black cat who’s sole purpose is plot progression and such.

He is an Omnic, like Exo. That is because he IS a being similar to Exo, and came from the same planet eons ago. Even on his planet, he was considered a mischievous being. He loved causing a stir among others, and avoided anything “boring” as though it were the plague. Rather than leaving the planet prior to the destruction as Exo was, Wisel stayed to “watch the greatest show this planet will ever know.”

Needless to say, he was crystallized with the rest of he planet’s inhabitants. His stone made it’s way into the hands of some genetic scientists on Earth who were creating creatures that were intended to aid heros. Think of them as super-pets.
When C.C. was “born”, he was nothing more than a tiny, scrawny, very large-eyed kitten. He could not use his powers, talk, or do anything he was once capable of doing. Though he was consciously aware, which frustrated him to no end. He came off as nothing more than a bored, grumpy little black kitten. Until one day some villains busted into the laboratory’s base and created a bomb capable of destroying everyone inside unless the heroes did exactly what was ordered.

And that’s all it took.
The kitten perched on top of the bookshelf stared, wide-eyed at the panicked heroes below him. Then, a wide, sharp, wickedly amused Cheshire smile wrapped around his face. ”How fun…” the purred.

It was at that point, the heroes were aware that the kitten might be trouble. And it was after the creature grew older and learned how to overcome the difficulties a feline body rendered, that the heroes knew that the thing was trouble. Wisel was once again able to use his powers, and made it his business to confuse those around him, and switch sides on a whim.
A back up experiment was made, as a way to try and control the creature. He was given an enchanted straight-jacket created by an unnamed magic user, which stripped him of his powers, mind, and turned him into a new cat. While he was in this form, it was impossible for him to use his powers, or be aware of anything important that was going on around him.

Of course…his conscious could slip out every now and then…when someone came who might be able to undo the jacket. Someone who wouldn’t know any better.
And every now and then, he has been known to voice his interest in a particular event even in his calico form.

Additional Notes on This Character:

As far as this RP has gone….C.C. entered the world in his calico form.

When Chaos was trapped by Shadow Spider, C.C. managed to let his conscious take control, and offered to help Chaos get himself free…if he undid the straight jacket. Chaos did, and C.C. transformed into his ever-loving black cat form.

Since then, he has been quite literally all over the place. If he finds something interesting, he’s there. If he can find someone to talk to, he’s there. If there’s a chance for him to bother someone, he’s there. If there’s a chance for him to offer his assistance and abilities, he’s there. If there’s a chance for him to completely alter a plot into something that satisfies himself or the readers, he is most definitely there.

Major plots he’s had a hand in:

Joker and Gossamer; They were a couple, and with one move, C.C. has them against each other. To the point that Gossamer is more important than Batman to Joker right now.

Gossamer and Terry; C.C. made Gossamer nearly kill both Alfred and Terry. And after Joker kidnapped Rosie, Gossamer is now working with Terry to try and find her.

Underground Exhibit; Along with Xion, C.C. has played a big part in giving the laboratory equipment, experiments, and rare items for them to work with. Such as a whole line of stones, heroes, villains, and a nice collection of multi-colored kryptonite.

Nostalgia: C.C. has helped Edel’s daughter gather a nice collection of “Dolls”. Most of which were heroes that were just…not being very active. Such as Green Lanterns, Catwoman, and many others.
