I think a lot about what life would be like if we lived in a Pokemon world. And the more I think about it, the more I realize how terribly focused it is on kids. xD
Apparantly the most prestigious thing you can do is become a trainer. At the pretty young age of 10, you get a random animal who pretty much acts like your fighting rooster. He bashes random animals into submission, where you make them your slaves so they can fight for you. Hmmm.
There are schools, but if you become a trainer you don't have to go. <.< Wow.
Oh yeah, and the whole "Catch them all" thing. Why? Prof. Oak always claims it was because of the "research". Stuffing boxes full of Pokemon is research? In the anime the Pokemon got send to Oak himself, but I wouldn't let a crazy kook watch after my babies. D<
I get attached fast. I'd fall in love with my first 6 Pokemon so much, I'd never want to have another. Sure, when I go into a new game I always think "Oh, I have to get a Vulpix and a Mareep and a Bulbasaur..." But I just know that in real life, the first 6 I'd encounter, catch and get attached to I would want to be my soul companions. xP
And I wouldn't want them to fight. D: Don't freaking hurt my Vulpix you piece of -bleep-! I would go crazy if one of my Pokemon fainted. Lol, fainted. I'm surprised they don't die. <.<
Sorry if this sounds all odd, just me letting my thoughts go. I think the Pokemon world is so charmingly wonderful in its crazy ways that I'd love to be in it. But I think I wouldn't be able to be a typical trainer like in the games. How about you?

Yeah i've thought about what thw world would be like if pokemon were real but in my version both animals and pokemon live together in this world and we would still have to go to school but we could bring our pokemon along if we had any.During vacations,trainers and coordinators would have the chance to travel more and collect badges or ribbons and eventualy participate in the pokemon league or the grand festival

I completely agree with you. XD
I dont think i'd want to battle much, if at all honestly.
I mean if my dog irl is hurt i s**t bricks, and worry. But Come on
badass adorable animals, being forced to battle? D: I'd cry. And then go kick the other trainers a** for hurting em.
When they introduced the pokemon contests i was really happy.
Its such a cool idea, that instead of battling your pokemon can compete and not really have to hurt one another 3nodding

If pokemon were real... that would be amazing.
I would still try to catch a Magicarp to evolve it. Because Gyarados is the best. And just imagine it in real life. You could own a leviathan.
