  Redwinged Blackbird- Agelaius Phoeniceus--The common name for the Red-winged Blackbird is taken from the mainly black adult male's distinctive red shoulder patches, or "epaulets", which are visible when the bird is flying or displaying.[7] At rest, the male also shows a pale yellow wingbar. Young birds resemble the female, but are paler below and have buff feather fringes. Both sexes have a sharply pointed bill. The tail is of medium length and is rounded. The eyes, bill, and feet are all black.

The man is the life of the party, always up and at it, excitable, and.....a bit sexual in nature. Back home, his days were spent drinking, partying, smoking, and spending time with his lover. He enjoys long days, just kicking back, working at the bar, fixing drinks, and having a cir. Bad habit, that one. Rico's a bit of a chain smoker. However, despite the MANY shortcomings this self absorbed, self-proclaimed sex god has, he's got a few good points. Ricardo's amazing with his clients and with the few students he has. Treating each one like equals, he has them calling him 'Rico', and asking him anything, even the more personal questions, on the first day, playing getting to know you. He's got that open personality that just draws kids to him. People too.
He's weak if a student of age starts coming onto him, often being an idiot about it and flirting back. One of the male's BIGGEST flaws is that he's so flirtatious, but with his lover around, it's easier for him to curb his natural tendencies. But often times, he'll get reminiscent, just staring out the window. No one will ever tell you why. Something tells me it has something to do with the past....
AppearanceHair: Black, with blond and purple streaks, cut with layers, and falling long around his shoulders, brushing just below his shoulderblades.
Eyes: Chocolate brown, with a ring of gold, although occasionally they'll appear Hazel.
Skin: A golden tan, with a hint of brown, from long days under sun and surf
Clothing: When in school? A decent casual button up, white, and unbuttoned to the midst of his chest, and then a pair of black slacks. Outside, it's a tank top and jeans, usually flip flops or barefoot.
Accessories: Generally, if he's feeling particularly daring, you'll find lots of beads and chains around his necks, each with particular symbolism relating to his time on the islands. One of the most obvious is a silver mirror-plate earring that hangs out of his ear.
