You didn't ask us to rate it on how close it looks to Squall, just to rate it in general.
In general I give it a 6/10 as well, because there is too much black for my taste and it seems a little plain.
How close it is to Squall, I say.. 9/10

I give you a 7 out of 10. I like it quite a bit, but I agree with the other, it seems to be missing something. I can't place my finger on it, but it's an excelent start.

Too bad there isn't silver necklace for guys...or is there? Squall has a cool necklace. I think that's the only thing missing.

As far as Squall cosplays go, however, I'd give it a 7. Even if it is a namesake, it is a rather tired subject.
