☽◯☾The Witch and Her Faery Child ☽◯☾ Many moons ago, a very powerful, loving witch, began to have feelings of emptiness. She was never alone in the world, for she had many she loved, and they who loved her. This emptiness was something else, something her aquamarine eyes not quite see. She was missing something important, from her family's tradition. The tradition of a witch and her faery child. A bond so sweet, powerful, earth-shaking and scary at times. Two beings of nature united in a mother and daughter kinship. The young witch, did not have this bond. Her heart was filled with doubt from this story, this tradition had family instilled her mind with. She began to feel that it was only a faery tale, a good family legend, and that she would never find her faery.
Time passed, and one warm spring day, three days or so after Beltane, a young, petite girl with a darker caramel skin, with long, waved, curly obsidian hair and the darkest brown eyes walked out of an old building onto a open circle of grass and trees in the middle a paved sidewalk, that looked like its own island, to meet a young woman that her friend had been meaning to introduce for quite some time. She smiled when her eyes met the woman's aquamarine eyes, and ran into her arms for a sweet embrace.
Instantly, the woman called the girl, Lil' One. The girl paused, still wrapped in the woman's embrace, and blinked as if she knew that name, it sounded so familiar, and cute. From then on, the two female's relationship grew, and grew, and grew. They were connected, they could feel everything the other could- emotionally and physically.
The woman knew this was her faery. Her heartbeats tripled like the goddess, and she felt complete. She knew now that she would have to share most of her wisdom, ideals, thoughts, love, and dreams with this little faery. The only thing was, the faery girl was still learning that she was a faery. The witch knew how to handle the situation. So, she gave the girl an emerald stone heart necklace that had been passed down from generation to generation of witches to give to a faery.
She blessed it, and gave it to the girl on her birthday as a symbol of love, power, and nature. She told the girl that it's not just that you have a faery spirit, you are half human and half faery. The girl beamed with euphoria. She told the girl that on her 18th birthday their bond will become its strongest, and that her true faery gifts will awaken and many other things. Until then, the witch and her faery child are as happy as they should be.

Very nice story indeed. Perhaps I should begin workin on telling one of my owne experiences. Maybe make it into something I post every now and again

Very Beautiful, I've been writing my story for sometime but I'll post the prologue and see what you guys think.
Nicole it was a wonderful story, I think it's something that should be shared ^^ you should make it into a childrens book.

Well actually, this is a true memoir of what has happened to me in the past 3 years. I'm the little faery. sweatdrop However, I currently am working on an fantasy novelette called Tread Lightly.
