Need help jumping in?
Big problem among new players, how to get involved or when to jump in. A lot of people have this problem, they want to join the game but aren't sure how to get their character involved. This thread is for those guys/girls.
This thread will function as a sign up sheet for those suffering from this ailment. Give us heads up if you want to join in and we'll see about helping you get your character involved.

The problem isn't always that they don't know what's happening, it's that they don't know how to get their character involved. Say for instance we're in Arklay Woods atm, we've got the S.T.A.R.S. team and we've got a few players who's characters are just randomly wandering around the woods and jumping right in. I'm waiting til we reach the Estate to jump in, but what about those characters out there who are just sitting around trying to figure out when to join in or how?

Well no ones in the Estate atm so id say have a few start there make two groups or something.

I think you're missing the point here. The idea is to help people get involved who didn't get the chance to jump in at the beginning. Say we've made it to Raccoon City and we're fighting our way down street or something along those lines. Someone wants to join in and since they were not with us to start that scene and they want help getting their character involved, we might do something along the lines of finding their character holed up in a store as we fight our way through.

I get what your saying this is for those who RP wise arent sure how to enter who dont want to interrupt the story but still want to play.

Seeing that everyone is seeming wishing to take part in the Arklay Mountain Incident it couldn’t hurt to have some Umbrella security guards or Umbrella special forces who have come to collect simples of the virus, we also could use some Umbrella doctors. Just a thought seeing as there is the large number of civilians showing up there.

Yeah, about that. The two idiots that were posting in the central hall have been banned. I'm not really into the idea of 'civilians' posting in the Arklay Mountains. Unless they live close by to the mansion, which apparetnly nobody does, or they're some kind of gun for hire sent to collect the T-Virus. No offense to Civies, but the Arklay mountain area was practically closed off when the cannibalism began to take a steep rise. You might as well post in Raccoon City. And Raccon is Pre outbreak. Birkin hasn't realesed the T-Virus into the water supply yet.

I honestly don't mind the idea of starting from the beginning... Just a view from a newbie to the RE concept of role-play.
I like getting things from the beginning instead of jumping in... Makes me feel very random and unnatural. -.- I tried justifying Corvin's reason, but it still doesn't feel right.

I have absolutely no clue how to jump in. I don't know what storyline is the dominant roleplay setting and I'm completely lost.

You can be the maid of the Spencer Estate that hid somewhere when you found out there were monsters? 3nodding
Don't worry if you don't want to do that, my mind isn't too....here...right now. I'm sure another member will come along and help more.

The current storyline is the Spencer Estate from Resident Evil 1. As it stands we’re half following the story and half making it up. If you wish to jump in you could play a Maid or a member of S.T.A.R.S. Bravo team, or you could be a scientist or you could have been sent by Umbrella to collect a sample of the Virus that was begin kept here. If nothing else maybe even someone that was begin experimented on and just happened to break out when the outbreak over took the labs. That’s just a couple of ideas. Now if your still not sure what to do just ask and someone well try and help you.

Hmmmm , I have two 14 year old characters here but i there are other 2 people involved in the storyline i think they will pissed of trying to protect the 2 14 year old what do i do kill one of them or ummmmm..... they die the 2 14 year olds
