The Valkerie is a beautiful faery maiden who aids a warrior in battle. The come from the land of Valhalla, which is said to bare the fruit and wine of longetivy. Valkeries are the warriors of the Faerie World. They happen to be one of my favorite type of fae. Your job is to come up with anything dealing about the Valkerie or valkeries.

In Norse mythology, a valkyrie (from Old Norse valkyrja "chooser of the slain") is one of a host of female figures who decide who will die in battle. The valkyries bring their chosen to the afterlife hall of the slain, Valhalla, ruled over by the god Odin, where the deceased warriors become einherjar. There, when the einherjar are not preparing for the events of Ragnarök, the valkyries bear them mead. Valkyries also appear as lovers of heroes and other mortals, where they are sometimes described as the daughters of royalty, sometimes accompanied by ravens, and sometimes connected to swans.

To be honest, it's getting really hard for me to find anything with those last letter's of the alphabet, and I don't really have time to do anymore with my job and school. If you would like to continue the weekly creature submission be my guest, but right now I need to focus on my life right now in general. I will still give feedback and everything to other posts.
