The young pup took after her father in many ways. She thought very highly of herself and was always trying to gain an advantage over someone or another. She wasn't necessarily cruel or wicked, but she did envious of others easily. Especially her siblings. She couldn't stand for any of them to be better than her at something, or look prettier, or even get more of their parent's attention. Everything had to be about her all the time.

Why did there have to be more? Rasputin didn’t understand the need for adventures or the need to be the brightest among them, he just wished to exist and was happy enough for that. Maybe he was a simpleton but it’s what made him happy and right now he was at his happiest, he was stock still and had been this way for a good hour, maybe… Time was still a little fuzz on his young brain.

After a few moments the lightly colored tan and brown pup looked over at her brother, Rasputin. "Hey Raspy, come here." She called to him as she stretched out luxuriously on her spot. He wasn't as bad as the rest. At least he wasn't crying and yipping like all the other pups down. Her green eyes sparkled curiously as she watched him. Perhaps...She could use him...

Glancing in his sibling’s direction Rasputin cringed at the name, he was so close to breaking his record, at least he thought he was. Time was such a difficult thing for the child to learn at such a young age, but sparing a glance to his sister Rasputin felt he should obey her needs since it was his duty as her brother to make sure she was protected in life and happy. Doing away with his distaste for not breaking his record ‘Raspy’ lightly trotted over to the tan girl.
“Yes Magaera?” he knew he didn’t have to correct his sister no his name, she was probably just doing it for attention.

Magaera smiles prettily when Raspy does come over. Ah, he was such a good little boy. Malleable. Easy to manipulate. Absolutely perfect for her plans for power. Now all that was left was to test how much he'd be willing to do. "Hey Raspy? Will you get this flea off me? It's been bugging me all day..." She says innocently. Actually, she had no fleas at all. She'd worked to get them off the most of the day and now her fur was immaculate.

Raising a brow at the mention of a flea Rasputin took a step back not wanting to get it on his own fur or in his skin for that matter. Taking a deep gulp this was a test, he had to pass it so he could not be afraid of anything, he had to be strong for his family he could do this! Leaning in Rasputin put his nose to his sister’s fur smelling deeply for the flea, and yet he couldn’t smell anything…
Leaning back Rasputin frowned, “I do not smell anything, sister.”

Magaera barely suppresses a chuckle when he sniffs her. "Oh no, not there silly. On my shoulder." She says and turns slightly so he could get the imaginary flea. She was liking this little game, and wondering how long he would actually go on with it. So far, he was doing good. He'd definitely have a use later on.

His frowned deepened as he leaned into his sister again, this time taking in a deep smell from her shoulder and yet still no flea to be found. Leaning back his frown never displaced Rasputin let out a little cough trying to cover up his sister’s craziness; aka her imaginary flea. “I still do not smell a flea sister.”

"Well, you must have scared it off then!" Magaera says with a cutely petite bark. "Do you want to sit here with me?" She suddenly asks curiously. He was quiet mostly and his voice didn't grate on her ears like the others did. She gave her fluffy tail a small wag and smiled prettily at him. Even her little fangs seemed to be perfect.

His siblings were odd in his eyes but very normal even though he had never meet with other pups as his own family, he liked to be around them but not ‘with them’ if that made any sense. “If you must have me near I will sit here as I was doing before.” Before allowing her to respond Rasputin trotted off to her side and took a pose, staying as still as possible. Maybe this time he could stay still for 2 hours? However long that was…

"All right." The young wolf chuckles. She half way closes her eyes as she settles down onto the ground, beginning to get drowsy as the two were mostly quiet and the others had wandered out to play outside. Just as she was getting close to dozing off she remembered Raspy was there. With one fluid motion she had repositioned herself so that she was laying on top of him, her legs hanging off his sides. "Don't move..." She mumbles sleepily. Unfortunately for Rasputin, Magaera had inherited her fathers size and weight as well, and was one of the larger pups of the family.

There went Rasputin’s attempt at a record; frowning Rasputin let his sister have her wish before closing his eyes and attempting to sleep with the oddly heavy pup on top of him. He’d have to make sure to grow more fully, to train everyday and eat twice as much as this female does because he most certainly didn’t want to be the runt of the litter. Grumbling a bit as his sisters limbs started to make an in pack on his body Rasputin did his best to keep his mouth shut, it was so hard though with a heavy pup on top of you though.

Magaera chuckles sleepily when her brother puts up no protest. She snuggles her head against his fluffy neck with a sigh. "You're comfy..." She mumbles as she slowly closes her eyes. Gradually her body goes limp as the tension in her muscles ease out. Within a matter of minutes she was fast asleep and snoring very softly.

Letting out a thick snort Rasputin let his sister sleep upon him, for tonight only! But finally as the night went on Rasputin was able to sleep under the uncomfortable conditions and as un-relaxed as he was at least he was always on alert for his family, for his sister. His thick young fur kept him warm as the air from the den swirled in coolness from the outside.

Magaera didn't so much as twitch as the cool air washed over her. Her body heat and her brother's mingled to make her comfortable enough to not even have to wake up. Even while she slept she was plotting; half baked ideas of conquer and power were tossed around in her dreams.
Yes, Rasputin could, and would be used.
