Posting Guidelines

When creating a thread to discuss your geek obsession please place the name of the genre to which it belongs in brackets so that when we are able to have extra forums I can move the threads into the relevant forums. Several ideas for forum topics and the related topics are:

arrow TV = anything related to TV shows, whether characters, plots, show-verse [eg the Buffyverse]
arrow Film = Like with TV but the things are related to films
arrow Book = Again the same as Film and TV but with books.
arrow Comics = Comic creations, Favourite webcomics, favourite comics, characters, plots, the art itself.
arrow Games = roleplaying games, board games, computer games, online games etc.
arrow Intelligence = the things that were considered to once be the realm of geeks ie; math, sciences, anything else)
arrow Computers (whether it's coding, writing programs, building your own or L33T speak this is the forum/heading for that
arrow Other/Miscelleaneous = basically any geek obsession that doesn't fit into the other catergories. Music, crafts, art are some of the things that could fit under this forum/heading

*It is understood that there may well be some crossover between one or more of the genre headings. If this happens use the one that you are primarily interested in while putting a side note of the other genre(s) in the thread itself*

An example of the way headings should be set out is
Quote:
[TV] Buffy the Vampire Slayer

If you're just having a general discussion unrelated to geek obsessions then no extra heading is needed in the topic line and it will remain in the main forum once extra forums have been created.
Discussions of Gaian life, threads for Acheivements and people seeking advice are welcomed into the main forum and need no extra heading.

Extra Guidelines will be added if/when they are needed. An announcement will be sent out informing guild members of any changes.
