[[[Just wondering. What exactly is the city of dreams?]]]

Mark walked out onto the pavement, his boots thudding against the cold cement. "Ughhh... 'Another day, another penny,' is what they say, but it seems that I'm losing more pennys than gaining. He shoves a fist into his pocket and heads off for the coffee shop two doors down.
{It's just the name of the city, I made it while thinking of Las Vegas so it should have that kind of feel around the city.}

Once inside, Mark takes his guitar case off of his back and gently leans it against the wall beside him. When the waitress comes for his order, he asks for some java and a small slice of chocolate cake.

Mark quietly eats his cake and, once in a while, he will dip a piece of it into the java. People walk around him, looking but not actually seeing them. All of the sudden a waitress named Flo walks up and knocks him out of his trance. "More cake sir?" Mark shakes his head no, "Thank you but I have to get going." He hands her a tip and just as quickly as he entered, he exits the coffee shop. He adjusts the guitar case strap carefully once outside, and then starts to walk down the street aimlessly.

Mark decides that since he loves playing his guitar, he might as well make money off of it. He finds a park bench and opens his case to reveal his guitar. He uses the case as the tip jar and plays his music lound and clear so that everyone would hear.

I guess this didnt exactly meet the fame I thought it was going to.... It really hasnt had anyone else post here except me....

Mark finishes his first song and cranes his neck to see if he'd gotten any tips in his makeshift tip jar. It was dissapointing for him to see it empty but he tried again with a different song.

The yelp of a girls voice could be heard floating in the air as she was pushed painfully against the wall by an larger man. He looked down at her with a perverted glimmer in them and smirked "Awwe don't be that way hunny, it wont hurt, you'll like it" he cooed. It wasnt that the man was old, but he was still technically assaulting her. "Don't touch me!" she belted, her ice blue eyes narrowed, a watery look clouding them. She was sickened by the way people simply passed, none bothering to even call the cops or help her.
