Ayup, he's a "born again" Jew, I guess would be the right term?
After the Sickness, his grandfather died and he struggled a lot internally, then he became religious once again. It's partially for this reason that Believe has a great deal of religious undertones.
He's also a very nice, peaceful, and solemn guy. I'm very glad I had the privilege of meeting him.

We talked about all sorts of s**t. I complimented his Asylum performance, and later, We played Call of Duty. It was like A Recipe for Dark Happiness. Why? We joked, but dark jokes.

Before I went to the concert I heard all of Asylum, and researched My Child. We did Fertility Jokes on miscairage which somehow led the whole band and me mocking my Christianity, and I thought it was funny too. Which led to making fun of 40 year olds who live in their mom's basements. twisted

Actually he was born Jewish but doesn't really follow his faith all to much and the song "Believe" was writtin for David's grandfather who was a holocaust survivor. David wrote the song after his grandfather died.

Master of Spades Actually he was born Jewish but doesn't really follow his faith all to much and the song "Believe" was writtin for David's grandfather who was a holocaust survivor. David wrote the song after his grandfather died. Hence why I said "born again," i.e. he lost his faith and regained it. Also, it wasn't just the song Believe, but the whole album! Can't believe I forgot to mention that.

I hate myself for lacking the ability to have gone to the Chicago show.
I haven't seen Disturbed live since Nov. '05. Sad, I know.
