Heroes of Jump City
(based off the t.v. series) Another day, and the good fight goes on. The six Titans (Terra included), friends til the end, strive to keep the citizens of Jump City safe from the many threats against them. No one knows what will happen next... -Read the rules please. ^_^ They're shorter than I usually make them. haha
-The first to pm me a certain character gets to play 'em! Please PLEASE no text talk, some grammatical errors are okay, but I would like to see capitalization, punctuation and an attempt at good spelling. XD I'll probably make mistakes too...
-No god-modding, killing someone else's character, cybering, bashing..... follow Gaia rules, you know the drill.
-I will accept OCs! Just, I'd like to have all the Titans before we get the rp rolling.
-Unless we're having trouble getting people for the rp, I'd like one person per Titan. If there aren't enough people, we'll discuss it.(edit) That doesn't mean you can't be more than one character! I encourage you take more characters on because of how few will end up joining...
-Stick to character, try to keep it going, add twists, and have fun!
(if you send in a Titan profile, you really don't need bio, age, abilities... you can fill it out if you want, but we all know what you can do. ^_^ )

Abilities: Although Robin does not have 'superpowers', he was trained by Batman himself, so...... his high IQ and detective skills bring him to the position of a natural leader. He's the organizer, and can pull together a plan even during the toughest situations. He is highly trained in tracking, problem solving, stealth, acrobatics, martial arts, and using different kinds of weapons in combat.
Gadgets (Robin needs this catagory):One of his favorites is his bo staff, a metal staff that extends a little over a meter long. His 'utility belt' carries several gadgets (different bombs -smoke, flash, exploding-, his communicator, specially modified shurikens and grappling hook, etc)
Bio: (Since the tv series actually mixes the skills, personality and 'bio' of two different Robins, I guess I'll follow what they did ^_^ This is strictly how the tv series decides to do it.)
Robin was part of a family of acrobats in a circus. The Joker caused the death of his parents (they fell, we don't need to get incredibly detailed)... at which point Batman took him in and taught him everything he knew. After years, he 'grew out' of being a sidekick, so he migrated to Jump City. He unexpectedly joined a team after meeting the other four, forming the Titans. (see the episode "Go". It's a good one.) He's now the leader of Jump City's heroes, the Teen Titans, and enjoys working in a team.
Personality: The best word for him- confident. Robin tries to smooth out problems in the team, but will get hot-headed himself with certain subjects. (ei. Slade) His determination/stubborness can be interperative. When it comes to hanging out with the team, Robin likes to have fun and converse, even though he's very independent himself. Personal problems usually remain private, and it takes some time for him to open up.

Raven later received a second chance at life when she was reborn in a new teenaged body.

Abilities: Cy's the mechanic. He made the T-car and Titan Tower from scratch. He can also repair as much of himself that is mechanical. Because of his half-cy self, he has super strength and can form a cannon from his right arm. He's also the oldest of the Titans, so he drives everyone around mosts of the time.
Bio: (His name is actually Victor Stone, but that's not really covered) His parents saved his life by fusing him with machine- and at first Cyborg didn't want to be what he turned out to be. He ran away, being a social outcast because of his non-human half. He found through joining the Titans that he could use his abilities to help fight, and he didn't have to be ashamed of who he was. 50% cyborg, 50% human, 100% Titan.
Personality: Cy speaks his mind. He's sensetive about the differences between him and others because of his cyborg-half. He likes humor, and LOVES to eat (good food, that is). His best bud is Beast Boy, although they may fight sometimes about BB's veggie diet...

Bio: She grew up on a distant planet of which her father ruled. She killed her brother and one of her sisters, so he banished her to earth where she lurks in the shadows.
Personality: She's more of a dark person. She is skittish and doesn't trust people quickly. She is more submissive, but if pushed, she can be quite powerful. (Case in point, her brother and sister)

Status: Anti hero- thief
Age: unknown, estimated very early twenties
Abilities: trained in stealth, martial arts, acrobatics and  weaponry. Is equipped with weapons Robin modified.
Bio: Red X is a mystery. No one knows who he is, or how he came to be. He stole the suit and title from Robin, which he called a 'mistake' of ever creating in the first place. Red X steals things, the Titans track him down for it, but then helps out if their lives are at stake...
Robin- "I thought you didn't like playing hero."
Red X- "Doesn't mean I don't know how."
Personality: Confident, cocky, self centered. He's in it for himself, and he wants to do whatever he wants whenever he wants.
Anything else?: Rumor has it Red X was once trained by the same mentor as Robin...

(alright, maybe posting will draw attention to this rp. ^_^ ) -kssshh- But Ray... I never wanted it to end this wa--kssshh- Maybe you shouldn't trust me. Ever thought of--kssshh- You know what time it is? That's righ--kssshh-Robin clicked the remote a few more times before turning to find the rest of the room completely empty. He was sure they were around the Tower... somewhere. Any minute he expected Beast Boy and Cyborg to run through those doors and quarrel with eachother about breakfast... and for Raven to eventually arrive when she decided it was peaceful enough to read in the same room... and for Starfire's first words to be about a random question she had about Earth life.... and for Terra to arrive, asking BB about the day's activities; the Tower's alarm system would eventually go off and the team would run out and fight to their best ability.
Routine, right? Well, so far Robin was alone in today's routine. Not that it was a problem... he liked alone time...personal boundries were good. But it still felt too quiet, hence the attempt to find a good show for once...-kssshh- 'Ello chap! What a fi--kssshh- This is your end! Prepare for--kssshh-((alright, I know this pic isn't from the Teen Titans animated series... but I love this one so much! XD And Tim is the Robin I'm rping after anyway...))

Starfire burst into the room, tears in her eyes. "Oh, where are you!?" Starfire flew to the kitchen, shuffling through the drawers, then to the couch, where she picked it up with one hand. She lifted and lowered the couch, not even realizing that Robin was there.

Robin turned around to see a crying Starfire charge in and shred at part of the room before she picked up the couch with her alien strength. Robin clung to the couch; if he didn't, Starfire would have thrown him off entirely. After timidly peaking over the back of the couch and observing her search a few more moments, he cautiously asked
"Um, Star? What's wrong? Did you lose something?"
He was hoping maybe he could help find whatever she was looking for...

Rena awoke on the beach. Still a little groggy, she stood and stretched before walking slowly to a shaded spot under a tree and plopping down. She stared at the new scenery, the new colors, the new creatures. Strange things, these humans were; so fragile and breakable. She blinked as a ray of sun reflecting off of something caught her eye. She stood to go and see what it was, but she stumbled a bit, still not used to the different atmosphere. She regained her balance and walked over to the shiny object. It was a dime. What a curious little trinket this is.. she thought to herself.

Starfire squeeked a bit when she heard Robin on the couch. She set down the couch gently and turned to Terra, though she adressed both of them, her arms flying out with drama. "Dear friends, I am in a terrible fix! I fear the worst for my companion, for he has gone missing! Silky is gone! I looked for him, but he was not in his usual sleeping spot on my bed this morning, and he wasn't in the closet, or under the bed, or in the curtains! He is nowhere to be found! Oh, poor, poor Silky!" Starfire cried out while shifting through the fridge and the cds. It was obvious that he would be in none of these places, but it cooled Starfire to check. If there was any possible place Silky could be, Starfire had to check.

Robin kicked off from the couch, placing a hand to his chin in a thinking state.
"I'm sure we'll find him... when was the last time you saw Silky?"
Robin also began to search in the regular spots he saw the 'little' silkworm...
"Did you check the air-ducts? I think I found him once or twice up there..."

Starfire continued searching while answering the questions. "He was slumbering peacefully on my bed last night, and was gone this morning!" Starfire lowered and her hands buried her face. "And I've inspected the tunnels of air twice already! Oh, I fear Silky is lost forever!" Starfire cried in her hands.

Robin kept the search up, recognizing Starfire's next phase to be worse that the last... he didn't want her to think it was a hopeless search.
"We'll find him. Don't we always find Silky...?"
He looked over to Terra, his expression asking for help.
