When I'm trying to comfort someone from a distance, I try to psychically hug them. 3nodding
It's kind of the same phenomena as meeting in dreams or meditation. Two minds can meet on the astral realm, and anything can happen, from hugs to sparring sessions to averting disaster.
They don't have to be living minds, either. There are people who have called on historical figures, astral creatures...anything.

How do you psychically hug someone or whatever? Maybe you should post that in your thread Azana. I wonder what it would be like if I psychically met someone in a boxing ring? Hee hee

I would be completely and utterly flipped out if I got kissed or hugged psychically. Hell, I don't like people hugging me anyway. But fighting someone, now that would be fun. Of course, knowing me, I'd probably use it to scare the hell out of my friends. Haha, I can picture it now...
On second thought, it's proabably a good thing I haven't seemed to develop any abilities.
