The Host Club Rules:
1. Good looks that attract the public eye,
2. More wealth than you can imagine,
3. Chivalry that will never be able to overlook the hideous wickedness of this world.Characters:Tamaki - Prince type; King, "Daddy" He has the biggest ego but also the biggest heart. He's naive for a 17 year old but that is what everyone seems to like about him. Even though some of the things he says is out there and doesn't make sense he means every word of it. He was the last to find out that Haruhi was a girl. He thinks of himself as more of a father figure to her when he can't figure out why he loves her. When he discovers that he really can't be her fatherly figure he is confused and unsure of what to make of it. He likes the sound of his voice and has his "corner" moments when his ego takes a bruising.
Kyoya - Cool type; Vice-President, "Mommy" He is the voice of reason and best friend for Tamaki. He is sly, cunning, and secretive but thanks to him the host club is able to finance a lot of things. It is commonly known that when he offers to do something, there is something to be gained for either him or the club. He is the cool type for the Host Club. He may come off cold and uncaring when he isn't entertaining guests, but he does have moments where it shows otherwise. He is foul tempered when you first wake him up and will remain so until he feels your apology is sincere. He cares for his friends especially Tamaki and Haruhi and will do what it takes to help them in his own calculating way. He was the first to know Haruhi was a girl.
Hikaru -Little devil type (Mischevious type); "Brother" He is the more mischevious of the twins. His voice is always a bit more harder and he parts his hair to the right. Though he and his brother look the same, pull them apart and you will notice a subtle change. Hikaru is more immature and self centered despite being the older twin. He is narrow minded at times but an overall nice guy. He and his brother offer the Host Club a special "Brotherly Love" package that keeps the guests entertained. Whether or not they really are homosexual is still a question. He and his brother were the fourth and fifth people to learn that Haruhi was really a girl.
Kaoru - Little devil type (Mischevious type); "Brother" He is the quieter of the two. He parts his hair to the left. He is more mature than his brother despite being the younger twin. He is nicer than Hikaru and will consider others before himself. He and his brother offer the Host Club a special "Brotherly Love" package that keeps the guests entertained. Whether or not they really are homosexual is still a question. He and his brother were the fourth and fifth people to learn Haruhi was really a girl.
Honey - The Boy Lolita; "Cousin" Honey is cute, sweet, and doesn't look like your average third year. His height makes him look more like a middle schooler. Don't let that fool you though. His full name is Mitsukuni Haninozuka and is the national karate and judo champ. In episode 18 it is said that the Japanese minister of defense told him not to use his full power for fear of other countries mistaking him for a secret weapon. He likes cute things and sweets. He is often seen carrying his stuffed bunny Usa-chan (Bun-Bun in the mangas). He was the third person to learn that Haru-chan was really a girl.
Mori - Wild type (Strong, silent type); "Cousin" As Kyouya put it so nicely in the first episode "Mori-senpai is as strong and silent as his role." He is a man of very few words. His full name is Takashi Morinozuka and he is the national kendo champ. Often seen with his smaller cousin Honey, he is very calm and focused. He is protective of Honey to the point of blaming himself for a cavity that Honey had gotten when he forgot to remind him to brush his teeth. The Morinozukas and the Haninozukas were in a servant master position for many years until two grandchildren fell in love and married causing it to end. Apparently Mori still feels it is his duty to watch Honey. He was the sixth person to learn Haruhi was a girl.
Haruhi - Natural type; "Daughter" The only commoner in the series that is able to attend the elite private academy, Haruhi is riding on a scholarship that demands a lot of attention on her studies. She found the host club by accident when she was looking for a quiet place to study. Being mistaken for a guy, she is first approached as a gay client. When she breaks a vase she falls into a 80 million yen debt to the club. Unable to pay she Tamaki makes her the host club's dog/errand runner. When he discovers that she is actually handsome under the ragged clothes and thick glasses, he makes her over and decides to train her to be a gentleman. Once he finds out she's a girl though, he is highly embarrassed. She doesn't care how she is viewed and stays on in the host club. She does get irritated with some of the antics that goes on (ie Brotherly love, Honey and his energy, Tamaki) but she just reminds herself its to pay back her debt. She develops feelings for all members in the club but none compare to her feelings for Tamaki.
