If you don't have a character already planned, or want a little help making one, here is a little character generator I was working on.
Make all rolls in this thread.
Age: roll a d20, add 10 for starting age.
Region: Roll a d4.
1= kanto, 2= johto, 3= hoenn, 4= sinnoh.
Starter: Roll d4. reroll on 4.
1= grass, 2= fire, 3= water.
Birth month: roll a d12. number= corresponding month.
Birth day: Random number 1-30. drop to 28 if February rolled for month.
This will only help you start a character, not completely build it.

I can't decide between Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh. Let's see what the dice say, best out of 5 gets chosen.
Edit: Looks like I'm in Sinnoh
