It was even an hour of them walking or Maya already felt like plopping down on a pillow.
"Oy vey, I do not have any stamina... Should've gone to a sport school or something." She complained.
Her ever active Bulbasaur was still jumping around happily. When he noticed Maya had stopped walking, he wrapped a vine around her wrist and tried to pull her forward.
"Aww, give me a break Rebel."
"Tired?"
Maya turned to face an old lady. She was quite small and looked friendly. Next to her was an Abra.
"Eh, sort of?" Maya smiled nervously.
"You know, Abra can teleport you to your destination... For a price." Her eyes had that evil gleam. It made Maya nervous.
"...What price?"
"One of your Pokemon. And you'll go wherever you want."
Maya blinked. She didn't like this creepy woman at all. But she did hate walking. So she got an idea.
"Okay, sure!" Maya handed her a Pokeball. Bulbasaur looked confused at her. Would Master really just give away her companions like that?
"Excellent! Where would you like to go?" The old lady asked.
"Anywhere warm, sunny and dry!"
"Alright, go ahead Abra."
Maya held her Bulbasaur in her hands and felt her being transported away. In the meantime the old lady opened her ball.
"What?! Empty! Why you little-"
"Haha! Psyche!"
The old lady fumed. "Grr! Abra, stop the teleport!"
Abra shook his head, unable to stop his spell. Instead, he waved his arms slowly. Maya saw it happening and realized it may not have been a good idea to trick the woman with a psychic Pokemon.
'Oh oh...'
