A tunnel situated on Route 23. It earned its name because it must be traveled by all trainers aiming for the top. Its other end opens up in Indigo Plateau and the Pokémon League. Only trainers with eight Kanto or Johto Gym Badges are allowed to enter it.
The trials inside the tunnels are made to fully challenge any trainer and their pokemon, both in battle and out.
