It was 8am and Xaine was still out training with his cyndaquil, Hino. They had been training since roughly 2am but he honestly didnt care, he was with his best friend but he was exahausted. He looked at his cyndauil and smiled
" Come on buddy we need to get back home before mom calls us down for breakfast and we get in trouble " he said with a chuckle as Hino jumped on his shoulder and they walked back to his house and he climbed to his 2nd story window.
" Come down for breakfast Xaine! " his mother yelled up as she walked back into the kitchen and got a plate of food for him.
" Lets go Hino, after we eat we can start our journey! he said exuberently as he picked Hino up and carried him downstairs getting him a bowl and putting in some of the poke' food he got for him.
" Cyndaquil! " Hino said happily as Xaine placed his bowl in front of him, Hino ate his food happily and the flame on his back lit up
" isnt someone happy this morning? " Xaine asked before he took a sip of his milk
" That reminds me, mother you know today i start my journey right? " he asked as he looked at her and smiled
" Oh yeah i forgot you start today, just give me a minute and ill give you some money so you can afford supplies " she said as she got her purse out and looked at Xaine.
" I told you mom i dont need any money, i already have plenty on me and what ive asked you to store for me over the years so i should be just fine " he said as he got up and washed his plate.
" Are you ready Hino? " he asked as Hino looked at him and jumped up
" Cyndaquil! " he said as Xaine picked him up and walked over to his mom
" Dont worry about me mom, ill be fine " he said reasuringly as he got his things and prepared to walk out of the door.
" Tell me you will call me from the next town you reach " she said as she looked at him, Xaine looked back at her and smiled,
" of course i will " he said as he walked out of the door and started on his way to the Ilex Forest to go to Azalea town and work his way to his first gym battle with Faulkner
